Just as expected.
Please consider booking using the booking.com website. The price that the hotel tried to charge me was completely different than present on the booking.com app, including the additional person in the room as well as extra parking charges.
- during the booking, the price was the same for 1 and 2 person. I selected one person only, and there was no disclaimer about extra charge on the second person. My girlfriend decided to join me for one night only and the hotel has charged me $78 for an extra person. Should I be dishonest and selected 2 persons regardless? That was a surprise.
- the parking fee was unexpected. It said there was onsite parking , however I was charged $25 per day.
At Booking.com, those information displays only on the ads, and when you receive your booking details it didn’t come through. So I didn’t have any evidence to discuss with the hotel.
