Room is very big and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly.
No spa facility, only one restaurant and nothing nearby. Kind of boring.

The views were heavenly! What you see in the pictures is what you get - even much better in person. I had the sea view, and the room was very spacious, bed very comfortable, staff very helpful - I am English speaking, but all staff were willing to use translators - from the reception to house keeping to the breakfast team - everyone was helpful. I had a really fantastic stay - I kept adding more nights. I can't wait to return! Thank you, Marriott Resort Xiangshui Bay.
The room had a 'dusty' smell' - this could be improved upon.

- Rooms were very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable.
- The pools and grounds were nice, and the locations is directly on the beach.
- Very clean hotel everywhere.
- Bathroom was great with a nice shower.
- Breakfast is extremely busy (even during Hainan's quiet period). You have to wait for a table every single day. That seems bad management.
- I informed the hotel that it was my partner's birthday but they didn't do anything at all for that. Every 5* hotel I've ever stayed will give a small gift or nice gesture.
- There's not enough parking at the hotel.

Best beach walk we have ever taken. Great body surfing.
Only one of the restaurants was open. At night the hotel did not serve alcohol anywhere on the property. Far from the city.
