Hotel Le Castel

Great location, helpful staff and excellent breakfasts. The food in the restaurant in the evening was also very good. We can highly commend Didier and Julian for their thoughtful and kind service, they made the stay very pleasant, thank you!

The hotel felt ready for a refresh in terms of decoration. The lack of tea & coffee facilities in the room was also a surprise, when even the most modest chain hotel normally boasts a kettle and teabags & instant coffee, which is always very welcome after a long journey.

The setting is perfect, both very calm and quiet, and very close to the much busier center of Chamonix (very nice walk to get there along the Arve, or a quick bus ride). Hotel staff was incredibly nice and an accommodating. The hotel itself is charming, the room was quaint, big and comfy. Will definitely come back again.

Great location, next to ski lift and in a lovely town. Provided clean towels every day, with replenished bottled water. Bike storage facilities and free car park opposite.

Room was quite dusty, hotel generally a bit tired.

Location and view are fabulous.

Security, cleaning staff and receptionists are disappointed. We stayed three nights and at the last night we were robbed. We came back to our stay and some of our new clothes, gifts and souvenirs were stolen. No tag of DO NOT DISTURB can be used to put on our door to avoid anyone entering the room. We tried to reach out the hotel for some help and he literally just asked the cleaner if she did it or not and she refused and that’s about the investigation he did.
