Very friendly and accommodating. Near the old town. Lovely traditional features. Cool in the heat of the summer.
If you have small children who want to visit the beach, it's a long walk, but fine for older children and the lakeside walk is lovely. We just carried our 4 year old, so wasn't a problem.
