Great place to stay in

Everything!

The ceiling is pretty low in some parts of the cottage and my husband’s head got a little beaten. Besides that this place is perfect

Very nice property and great location. Cleaners could of paid a bit more attention to detail.

Stairs. Back yard was not cleaned. Several blinds not working correctly.

The house was well situated and kitted out with almost everything needed. Very pretty house

Great, comfortable stay in this cosy cottage.

The property was very clean, cosy and in a lovely village. The hosts had thought of everything you need and a lovely welcome basket.

Stairs are very steep, however to be expected in a cottage.

Very good

Very nice and quiet location in the Cotswolds with easy driving access to the entire Cotswolds area. The cottage is lovely and comfortable.

The only recommendation is that the host note that the stairs are very difficult for older adults. They are quite narrow, steep, and winding.

Quintessentially but quirky Cotswolds cottage, if you like a challenge!

Conveniently located, quintessentially Cotswolds Grade II listed cottage. Nice touches of Prosecco, biscuits, milk etc provided when you arrive. Comfy beds & lovely linen/ towels, big bedrooms and helpful items like iron, hairdryer, toiletries, firewood etc.

The stairs are in a word, treacherous - there should be a warning about them especially for anyone older or with children. I was nervous every time I had to go up or down - but I appreciate that’s what you can get in this type of tiny Cotswold cottage. There was also an incredibly strong smell of paint thinners on the ground floor & first floor - being asthmatic it made it a difficult stay for me, hopefully it’s only very temporary but we couldn’t get rid of the smell. Didn’t have time to report it to the managers, as we were there for a wedding and busy getting things done - not sure what they would have done about it though. Finally, many friends were staying in similarly-priced cottages in Blockley which had far more living space and safer stairs - so the value could have been better.

Cosy little cottage within one of the prettiest villages in the Cotswolds.

My husband is 6’4” so bumped his head going up the stairs and into the bathroom several times.

perfect escape in the Cotswolds

we came here for our mini moon and it felt like our little luxury home for the weekend. perfect location peaceful but still with two pubs and a fantastic cafe a short walk away. cereal, biscuits and Prosecco left for us was a lovely touch. bed was super comfy and shower was very good. would definitely come again

we were provided with ground coffee but couldn’t find a cafetière. instant coffee was also provided however

A true luxury retreat, best of the 18th and 21st centuries

The cottage was exquisitely designed and prepared for guests. Its ancient features were thoughtfully preserved, with gorgeous modern luxuries and insightful, caring touches like prosecco, and even nice chocolate milk mix and fresh milk for breakfast. The bedding was luxurious, the dishes beautifully hand-glazed, the underfloor heating on and waiting for us, every surface spotlessly cleaned. The furnishings seem to be a showpiece of Cotswolds Grey, an interior design shop in the next village.

Lovely place to stay , lovely village , cottage exceeded expectations, would definitely stay again , facilitates we’re excellent and loved the grocery package with the Prosecco

The stairs were very tricky with a rope hand rail , needs adding to the description

Superb

Beautiful tiny cottage in a gorgeous Cotswolds village. Stylish interiors and comfy bed. Great to have milk, Prosecco, cereals, biscuits and coffee in the welcome hamper. Fantastic walks from the door of the cottage with access to the Heart of England and Monarchs Way.

The Internet connection was intermittent. The steep stairs might be a problem for some, especially as the bathroom is on a different floor to the bedroom. An espresso/nespresso machine would be a great addition.
