Nice old pub, very easy & convenient to check in and out. Clean, comfortable room & bed.
Lady in charge was very pleasant and friendly. They warned of possible noise from music downstairs, wasn’t too intrusive, but they did have earplugs available.
No tea / coffee making facility - admittedly I didn’t ask so don’t know if it was available on request.

Clean, but overpowering scent of the bedding was disturbing. Roomy, king bed. Breakfast items on a table outside the room which was thoughtful. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Bathroom was fairly modern but mould on the walls.
No remote for TV, room was cold and no heating. Bed was very uncomfortable, more springs than padding. Very dated furniture. Curtains were ill-fitting so could see all car lights which kept me awake for most of the night. Nowhere to leave keys, rang the number on the door but no answer so left them on a table where breakfast stuff was.
