Location.
Staff do not speak languages but German. Not very polite or helpful, except for the evening waitress.
It states with big letters outside the it is a wellness hotel, but it is not. Those facilities are closed.
Water in the small outside pool is of dubious quality. Sunbeds always wet because of watering the grass, so completely careless maintaince.
The hotel is well over its glamour period. Rooms are ok, but common facilities outdated, partly dirty.
Glass bathroom in built the rooms are really delicate. No intimate moments inside…
No parking place at all, despite what reservation says. However, you can park close by easily and no fee.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Salamander Bahn to Schneeberg and also its convenient location near the center of Puchberg.
The staff was very nice and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was rich and well prepared. Overall, the hotel is probably a bit past its peak years, but still perfectly OK for a one-night stay.
Personally, I do not like bathrooms made from “plastic” modules from floor to ceiling, together with a textile shower curtain - that is definitely not my taste.
Also, the wellness area was closed, probably due to the off-season period, but I think this information should have been clearly stated on Booking.com in advance.
Otherwise, everything was fine and I can recommend the hotel.
