Cheap and friendly

Basic accommodation for basic price.

Stayed here for a while, thought they were nice people at first, but the following happened in about 1 month of staying here: Kid of the staff came into my room to play on my Nintendo Switch. Owner Romel increased the price of scooter rental one-sided. Owner dodged meeting to talk about things. Owner also started angrily messaging me for telling other customers the prices for scooter rental and rooms. Street kids and staff kids hang around in the accommodation making tons of noise. Xyla and other staff eat breakfast ingredients like cheese, then tell guests they ran out. Staff lazy, do not clean rooms well, try to dodge as much as they can.

Great value and homey welcome for the budget-minded traveler

Unbeatable value for the price. Amazing and huge breakfast, very friendly and hospitable staff. Silent location in a peaceful neighborhood. Clean bedsheets and towels. Free drinking water. Good Wi-Fi. And again: people are SO nice!

The room next to the kitchen seems to have a little ants problem and one bedframe might need fixing. But hey - that's minor issues for a friendly and very affordable place like that.

Superb

Location is not that easy, the place is not all pretty and neat but it's for little budget. It's soooo cheap. We got what we payed for, really. People are nice, place is totally ok and the breakfast was nice too.

Great staff and budget friendly.

The staff is really nice. She helped and guided me a lot for our trips. They also have free drinking water and coffee. Breakfast are included but served after 7am only. Beds are comfy as well.

If you're traveling with kids, this is not a place for you. There were some small bugs and place is quite far from the main road which makes it harder to hire a cab for your tour. No toiletries available yet the staff is really nice to buy some for us and charged us only the actual fee. Toilet is really small, it's a bit hard to get in and out but still manageable.

Very cheap private room with good a/c. Good if you have a flight on the next day or so. Breakfast is yum

The toilet was horrible and the location is totally far from everything.

Return of the Jedi.

Second time back , once again great. Different room this time and again great. Bunk bed with fan. Mattress good, Spiderman cover good and a private bathroom. Omelette amazing as always.

Toilet had no flush but it's the Filipino flush method so no worries. Otherwise no issues a again.

The cheapest accommodation you can find in the town. The host was great, very helpful. The location can be tricky and inconvenient. Overall, great for the price.

Nice local homestay, very cheap

Great for the price, and even had a small breakfast included!! Staff were very helpful and friendly. They offer laundry service and bike rent, which is useful if you need to go to che city center. It is quite far from the center but very quiet and nice place to relax. Nice balcony upstairs with free coffe and water. It's a real local homestay, so do not expect hotels standards. Good value for the money we paid.

A bit far from the center and from restourants, but there are some small local food places nearby with local food. Ants a bit everywhere. Small bathroom, and need the bucket to flush the toilet.

lovely staff! highly recommended.

the ladies who look after the property were so lovely. they will organise any transport you need. I asked them to book a tour for me and taxi to the airport for 6am. all was great and the taxi driver even came half an hour earlier to pick me up 😃(I think he was earlier just to reassure me that he won’t be late as I was a bit worried about being late for my flight). my room was very specious and clean. there was no trash and no insects.

the property maybe is a but worn out but it serves the purpose to have a good and comfortable sleep.

Suffice to say that I will be staying there regularly whenever I have to go to Puerto Princesa

I have my own house in the north of Palawan and travel to Puerto Princesa quite frequently and the Casaoro Homestay has become my home away from home. It's in a very quiet neighbourhood not far from Robinson Shopping Mall where you can catch a multicab or tricycle into the city. It's fantastic value for money including a good breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful including the owner Rommel.

Nothing I can think of.....especially for that price.

Get what you pay for

Staff were really friendly, booking our underground river tour for the next day and cooking our breakfast without having to ask, accommodating for a vegetarian breakfast (asking if we were OK with the option). Free coffee and water so overall good value for money

Didn't quite meet the description: - no seating area in room - no access to WiFi - no TV - shower pretty much above toilet so difficult to use - light in bathroom didn't work

Bedroom with own bath, toilet and kitchen (shared cookwares, utensils, water, are on the 2nd floor) for a very low price

May still improve with cleanliness. Linens and mattress looks clean but the area is somewhat old and seems unused.

Great place to stay while in Puerto Princesa

The room is very spacious with two toilets/ showers and two mini kitchens. It also has a mini dining area at the end of the hallway where you can enjoy the breeze. The pick up from the airport is very cheap and convenient. The owner is also very friendly and accommodating. I got more for the price I paid. The free breakfast was also very good.

The floor is a bit dusty, and the other futon bed was uncomfortable. It's best to bring an indoor slipper if you don't want your feet to get dirty.

helpful staff breakfast good bed comfortable. Wifi good. 30 minutes walk to Robinson's mall. 45 minutes walk to San Jose bus terminal.
