The perfect vacation

The house is well located in an amazing spot on the Homem river. The house is lovely, carefully decorated and kept and fully equipped…Sameiro doesn’t miss a thing! The owner is a warm, attentive and kind person. I’m already thinking about coming back

Beautiful, unique villa

Absolutely beautiful, surroundings are unreal. So sad being back home. Pictures don’t do it justice, beautiful, calm, spacious, gardens are gorgeous. Kids loved swimming in the river. Perfect.

Wonderfully relaxing.

Maria had left freshly baked bread and biscuits and two kinds of cheese which were all loved by all. I have an issue with gluten but it was very easy to find gluten-free bread and biscuits in the local supermarket.

I don’t think anything needs to be any different. Maria was easily contactable if we needed any help eg using the extractor fan etc. We just wanted to relax, enjoy the environs but there were plenty of stuff for activities like canoeing or swimming in the river. We also saw some people fishing in the river. The summerhouse with the hammocks was my favourite while the children loved the one in sunny garden.

Wonderful!!!

The house is located in a really pretty place, very calm and relaxing. COVID was not a preoccupation because everything was cleaned so we felt very safe in these vacation. The house is a water Mill so we went to swim in the river it was sooo cool. Those days in that house were so good, I will miss that place for sure.

The only thing I didn’t like was the internet, it was very slow. We were planning to watch some Netflix in family and we couldn’t because of it. I know that the owner didn’t have fault but it’s a aspect to improve :)

Fabulous couldn’t ask for more.

Firstly, the house is just as good as the amazing pictures. Secondly, the hosts are the sweetest people possible. They left us two bottles of local wine and some cheeses. It was such a lovely start. They went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our visit as much as possible. Also try the Gin and Tapas restaurant in the local town. Stupendous.
