Ideally located in a beautiful neighborhood, with easy access for driving along the Normandy beaches.
There was a lack of air circulation on a warm day, which is quite understandable for a century-old home.

The French continental breakfast was substantial and filling, and the proprietor provided our hot beverage of choice every morning.

Carl, the owner, and his wife Sabine, were very gracious hosts. Their recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were terrific. GPS was tricky in the area so you needed to be careful. The chateau is pretty secluded. The breakfast in the beautiful dining room was lovely. The bedroom was Hugh and comfortable. Another lamp would have been helpful. The bathroom was clean and modern.
It would have been nice to have a public area for sitting and conversation.
