It delivered exactly what was promised. The self-catering rooms are cozy with lovely views of the river. Peaceful and serene.
Rooms can get chilly on cold nights. There was no heating inside the rooms. An indoor fireplace or heater or electric blanket would complete the experience.

It is completely a self catering unit, we had an amazing time & the venue met our expectations. We would definitely visit the place again and have already recommended it to some friends
That the firewood for the braai was sold & we only found out once at the venue and we did not have any money with us. The water issue, on the last day we had to boil our own water in pots so that we could take a bath.
