Very nice cozy apartment right over the sea

Lovely place, wonderful host, gracious owner!

The condo was clean and beautiful with a gorgeous view, the AC worked well, it felt safe and secure, and both the host and owner were super friendly and helpful people. The location was great - close enough to town, yet far enough to be peaceful - we even snorkeled in the bay and saw some nice corals and fish. The dock out front was very handy for excursions and boat taxis, and the end of the dock has a lovely lounge and social area. Kitchen was excellent and well-equipped, and overall the condo was well-appointed with nice decor and useful touches. There is a grocery store a few doors away that was well-supplied and had a large variety of goods, and several restaurants nearby that are perfect for some local-style meals.

NOTE: I am extremely sensitive so this may not be noticeable to others. Expect a little party noise from the neighbors, and some street noise during day from the island's road construction vehicles. Also not sure what is next door, but it smells like a sanitation plant and on occasion the smell would waft into the bedroom upstairs. Some ant control is needed, but that is typical of tropical environments and if you are vigilant with keeping everything clean, they do not bother you. Even with these very minor negatives, we absolutely loved the place and would happily stay here again!

The little deck on the back. Very peaceful. We saw some manta rays! The fresh water stand so we could refill our bottles easily.

The loud air conditioning unit right next to the bed. The kitchen needs new pans so you don't have to search for matching lids.

Awesome! Very nice location. Dream at the water! Rebecca is a very nice woman and gives good tipps. Supermarket is very Close. Bikes ans kajaks for ok-prices! I cam recommend going with single-kajaks to the left to the floating bars or watch dolphins in front of the house with the kajaks. Christian amd anne from Germany

Great stay

This was really a perfect visit.. the apartment itself is really beautifully done, with a spacious living area, proper kitchen, and a loft for the main bedroom… nicely styled with wood flooring & natural surfaces, everything in excellent working order, loads of windows overlooking the bay and letting the sea breeze through the whole apartment - I didn’t use the AC at all. Rebecca the onsite host is fantastic, very prompt communications from the time of the reservation, always checking in to make sure everything is ok, super lovely person. I liked the location a lot - Saigon Bay is very tranquil and is a short bicycle ride (or taxi) to town center, and also a short ride to all the swimming beaches.. and you can kayak or SUP quite a ways along a very peaceful mangrove shoreline… great location really. Stayed for a week and wish I could have stayed longer.. would easily recommend to other travelers

Exceptional

Very nice and spacious apartment on the second floor (Manta Raya) with an amazing view over the bay and to the Panamanian mainland. The kitchen was well-equipped, AC worked very well and we had everything we needed. Good and quiet location to explore the island, Bocas town can be reached within walking distance. We recommend to rent the bikes and the kayaks. Communication was flawless anytime.

Perfekt stay

The patio was amazing with the couch and hammock directly on the ocean. I loved to be there. Also the interior design was so lovely and kitchen was fully equipped. Even a lot of water & ice cubes were included which I didn’t expected but was really happy about it. Morgan was also really helpful with all my questions. one of the best accommodations of my 3 weeks trip.

A perfect little get away- quiet and peaceful. I wish we had more time!

We loved our studio room that looks right out onto the water. We enjoyed laying in the hammock and sitting on our porch. It is not directly in town, but we preferred it that way as we were away from the noise and music. It was very easy to catch a taxi into town.

Great stay!

The space was gorgeous and very clean. We got the mantaraya apartment which has great views and a lot of amenities including a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom even a TV with chromecast. The Dock is very comfortable and a great place to chill with drinks, music or a book and enjoy sunsets. The location is quiet and only $1 drive to the center. Morgan helped us with everything from breakfast spots to idea suggestions for activities and let us know fair prices for taxi and tour fairs. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would not hesitate to go back to santuarios del mar.

If you like thick pillows or with some kind of support I suggest you to bring your own, as the ones provided were very thin.

Very good

Location was nice, just outside of town and right next to a grocery store. Nice to have laundry on site, kayaks and stand up boards.

Not very soundproof. You can pretty much hear everything.

Excellent

It’s a perfect spot beautiful scenery on the water. It was a great homebase for seeing Bocas del Toro and the islands. Did not need a car the taxis are actually really great and cheap and they took us everywhere even the water taxi.
