Wonderfully welcoming and friendly hosts, I really enjoyed our conversations and the delicious breakfasts . The garden was absolutely beautiful also, such a sanctuary.
Quite tucked away at the end of a farm track! I found it easily using the coordinates provided, and in the end this added to the sense of “secret sanctuary”

I arrived later than I wanted to and it was starting to get dark, they were both very welcoming, offering a drink/cake.
The room was lovely & spacious with big windows & bathroom next door, it was all very clean and the bed was comfy.
I enjoyed the fresh cut flowers especially sweet peas in my room and bathroom.
It was a joy to see proper free range chickens in the garden and their black lab was very friendly.
It’s an beautiful, peaceful location in the middle of nowhere, I would have liked to have had the time to walk around the garden as it looked very inviting
The farm track in was incredibly rough, as an ex-farmer myself I have driven down all sorts in my time but this really isn’t suitable for a car, in the dark I think it would be very hard unless in a 4x4.
10 mins before arriving I was told that they were having enormous problems with their phone line and there was no WiFi. If they told me earlier, even that day, I would have found somewhere else, due to personal reasons I need to be able to be contacted & vice versa, so I had a very unsettled night.
I was also told that they don’t lock their external doors, each to their own but not for me.
