Friendly staff, comfortable beds.
I would not recommend staying here with children.

Very beautiful hotel. The host is so kind and friendly and the interior design is really tasteful. It combines modern and traditional elements. We really liked that.

Welcome from Cato-san - with a tea while he sorted the other guests that had just arrived
Not far from station/castle, walkable to the beach through tunnels under the seafront road
Used the
Breakfast not provided, but 7-11 is close and plenty of cafe's & restaurants nearby (though some close early - don't leave it too late!)
Used the Jokomachi Dosun ramen restaurant for dinner - very Japanese! You order at the bar from a vending machine, then hand your tickets to the staff. The labels are Japanese only, so Google image translate was very helpful here. But the food was good.

Prices not displayed properly. Even if the stay for children is indicated "free", it actually costs additional fees to get futons... We paid a price for 4 persons but there were only 2 futons ready in the room. We first have been asked to pay for an additional futon for the children before getting an exceptional refund after long discussion.
