NOT A HOSTEL

I’m sorry I have to give such a low score. After all, it’s our responsibility as travelers to each other and also this is our platform to let the owners know what needs improvement (as not everyone is friendly and let you the opportunity to tell in person)

It’s a small house. Which means: - No privacy Poor wooden doors of the bedrooms aren’t connected to the ceiling so you hear everything from the dining room which is the only common space and so close to the rooms. Owners (couple) live there.. have family coming to visit.. cook.. and it really makes you feel as you were living in someone’s home (but paying). - Safety The house is located 20-25 min from the main street with all the restaurants and the beach. Part of it is a dark road and unpleasant to walk. * If you’re a solo traveler: Book a private room and not a dorms!! ‘Dorms’ is a tiny room with two single beds extremely closed to each other (so weird). Imagine sharing a twin room with a person you don’t know.. All in all.. so many things are wrong as for the property and lack of experience and understanding how to run a guesthouse of the owners. I wouldn’t recommend staying there for the noise and privacy only.

Que estaba cerca de la playa

Esta vez la experiencia no fue agradable, pedí 5 habitaciones solo nos entregaron 4, el chekin era a las 3 y eran las 7 de la noche y aun no estaba listo el alojamiento, Nos limitaron en el horario de dormir solo hasta las 12 de la noche y luego debíamos acostarnos, porque los dueños así lo decidieron, nos sentimos muy cohibidos uniese preferido quedarme en casa. No había agua en las llaves había qué estarles diciendo para poder tener agua.

Increased my overall impression about Las Gsletad

From the moment I arrived, I knew I had made the right choice in staying at this hotel. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the room was impeccably clean and comfortable. I was also impressed by the range of amenities available, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience.

I would definitely book accomodation again

I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel. The staff was fantastic, always going above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room itself was spotless and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could ask for. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Miguel and his girlfriend were amazing, stay at this hotel was an absolute pleasure! The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with everything I needed. The hotel's location was also great, as it was close to all the main attractions and restaurants in the area.

Good budget accommodation

Good value for money. The place is as it describes, good for budget travellers

The only slight negative was that with it being a 2 bed dorm room, the beds were very close and it was a bit uncomfortable

Very poor

The Bed.

The room we had was not ready( Room with bathroom) So we had to take te shared bathroom. When I asked in the morning to boil some water to make coffee and cook 2 eggs we had to pay 500peso extra to use the kitchen. It would have been a nice compensation for the room that wasn't ready... So we left. Can be a nice place, but not this time!

I felt a sense of relief when I left the following morning thereby forfeiting three nights.

This venue is on the outside of town. The closest eateries and pubs seemed to be a thirty minute walk away.

I booked a four night stay but elected to leave after only one night. This venue is someone's private residence and not your traditional backpacker hostel. I felt as if I were intruding in someone's personal space and was an unwelcomed guest. Sometimes you just need to cut your losses and don't look back.

1.very noisy location, loud noises from the street till late night and from early morning. 2.accomodation is in different place than booked originally via booking! 3.will not come again 4.not signposted, so difficult to find

Eyes Peeled!

Use of shared kitchen, garden and seated area. Value for money.

Hard to find without google maps as it just looks like any.other house with no name sign. I walked past it without knowing and many other travellers had the same problem during my stay.

espeThe host couple is wonderful, attentive to my arrival, they help me with everything, even find me an other space with more privacy and Jose Miguel Help me with transportation to Playa Rincon and pick me up in the afternoon, also in the morning. Muchas Gracias ☺️ Y muchos éxitos

If you want peace and quiet, come here

This is a private house that has a few extra rooms. It's 1.5km away from the center of Las Galeras, so if you don't mind walking and are looking for peace and quiet, do come here. I had a room to myself and bathroom as well. Bath towel and shower gel is provided. They have a lovely dog that can walk with you to the supermarket when he feels like it ahah. Kitchen is well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. José can take you to the nearest beaches on his motorbike for an extra cost and pick you up at the end of the day.
