We had our closest encounter with a wild sloth ever in the gardens of our holiday home here! The owners have been redesigning the gardens with almond trees to attract sloths and we watched one just a couple of metres above us, which was a highlight of our trip. The apartment was huge with excellent aircon and comfy beds and the staff were very friendly and helpful; the gardener even came to tell us about the visiting sloth so we didn't miss it. The grounds are beautiful, the pools were fun, and the laundry service was a great bonus.
The WiFi was a bit unreliable and cleaning facilities (broom, dustpan and brush, etc) would have been handy.

Location is remote, quiet, and in a jungle-like area. It feels like glamping. great to get away from the city.
Lots of bugs/critters but that's to be expected when staying in the middle of the woods. there was a scorpion in the pool table, which was quite scary but the hosts helped.

Location was out of the way.
Kitchen dirty with bug poop.
Broken door to bedroom.
2 bedrooms are located outside.
All but 1 pool cue were broken.
The front gate continually malfunctioned. This unit was in a state of disrepair. Other units look like they may have been renovated.
