Evis Resort at Nggatirana Island

Evis Resort is in the isolated Nggatirana Island, in the Western province. The houses are new and rooms are spacious. The bathroom is large and with a proper shower. The bed is big and covered with the mosquito net. The electricity comes from the generator according to the schedule (not during night time), but luckily there was some wing. The food is very good, mainly local seafood (if you prefer) and as we were the only clients, it was all very private, we eat a lot of lobsters and other local fresh seafood. The resort will pick you up by boat from the Sege airport and it will take ca 25 minutes to get to the resort. On one day we were joining the resort team visit to the Sege market. Also, they take us to the night lobster fishing, which was a great experience (either we stayed on the boat). There is a very nice small beach so the resort is perfect for the sun catchers. Around the island, there is an easily walkable track. by walking it you are getting a great jungle tour. We did it twice, once clockwise and on the second day counterclockwise - and you get totally different views! Very lovely stay.

You must consider electricity schedule, also for shower (as the water pump is off also).

The rooms are really new, spacious, perfectly clean and high standard. But the best thing is the location, directly on the beach with outside terrace. I just had to step outside my bungalow and could snorkel in the most beautiful coral reef I've ever seen. The staff was really friendlyand cared about everything we needed. The food they provided was also really tasty, especially breakfast was every day a highlight, but also the coconut crab. They also offer tours to other islands. The whole region is really beautiful.

Nothing I could complain about.

Close to a good reef so great snorkeling. Rooms clean and spacious. Lots of seafood served.
