What a nice place!

Toilet cistern was not refilling at all. I chose to fill it manually and reported it upon leaving.

the room was large and very comfortable, lovely toiletries in the shower room and all kitchen facilities we needed. very nicely and sensitively decorated to fit in with the beautiful surroundings too.

nothing at all! it was a little difficult to find but that made it all worth it when we arrived!

The setting is beautiful. Apartment is spacious.

The dirt road before you reach the property was a bit scary travelling alone at night.

Passionate host, clean and comfortable accommodation, incredibly family friendly and beautiful views

An amazing set up in the Simondium area! Perfect for families and those without children. We had a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for all we needed. The host personally met us and ensured we were settled in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and contained all we needed for the two days we were there. The clever option of being able to cook on the gas or wood braid was brilliant during load shedding. Located right next to a small dam where you can fish or take a row boat out. Stunning views out to the mountains made for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. You can also take a croc tour or visit the snake house whilst staying. We didn't have time to eat at the restaurant but all the facilities are there should you want them. Would definitely stay again in the future. The host is so passionate which was just super to see!

Beautiful views, comfortable & clean accommodation and great value for money!

The property is conveniently located near a lot of the popular wine farms and a relatively close drive to Franschhoek and Paarl. There is a large dam with bass fishing available and beautiful views. The units have everything you need and they are clean. Alzette is a great host and does her best to ensure you enjoy your stay, even providing extra ‘load shedding friendly’ lighting. If you have kids there is a reptile park on the grounds which is something fun for the whole family.

Great value

The location is great with numerous activities for a 5 year old. The gravel road eventhou short needs a good scraping . All other facilities and offerings are brilliant. Great service eventhou slow in kitchen ( food is good) Great product overall Accommodation excellent and clean Staff extremely friendly

VERY GOOD STAY WOULD HAVE BEEN PERFECT HAD I BEEN ABLE TO SHOWER!!

THE LOCATION IS EXCELLENT!! & ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE

I COULD NOT SHOWER, NO WATER PRESSURE?? I WAS ASKED TO HAVE A SHOWER IN AN ALTERNATE ROOM & THAT ROOM ALSO HAD NO WATER. I WAS TOLD THAT OWING TO LOAD SHEDDING THE PUMPS WERE NOT WORKING??

With the self catering amenities we would definitely go back for a slightly longer stay.

The hosts could not have been more accommodating and the breakfast the following morning was great. The rooms were so well equipped for self catering.

Very good

Beautiful view and relaxed atmosphere. Crocodile and reptile shows was the best we’ve seen. Lots of space for kids to explore and play.

For longer stays take note that the fridge is very small.

We had a lovely, peaceful weekend stay at the Waterside studio apartment. Waking up to the most spectacular view is the perfect way to get your day started. I would definitely recommend the accommodation if you're keen on a escape from the busy city and seeking peace and quiet for a few days.
