The Heber C on Kimball Lane is a beautiful 6000 square foot cabin located centrally in Garden City. Boasting beautiful lake and mountain views, this is the perfect location to enjoy year-round recreational activities. This elegant home is located in part of the Heber C Kimball Estate. With 9 Bedrooms, 10 Bathrooms and a large bonus room above the garage with its own bath, there is ample room for the entire family or group. Experience the upscale cabin feel while enjoying modern amenities. There are 2 completely furnished kitchens. Guests are surprised to discover how well stocked the kitchens are with small appliances and plenty of settings to service many people. 2 laundry rooms, a large wraparound covered deck with excellent unobstructed views of Bear Lake! 2 spacious Master Bedrooms, one on the main level and another on the walk-out basement level. The home has 2 brand new large smart TVs, a game area with flat screen in the bonus room, making spaces where everyone can enjoy their own media. We provide 5 folding tables and 50 folding chairs for ample seating, they are stored in the garage for hosting a big group. There are 2 paddle boards and a kayak which guests may use. The upper deck has an outdoor fireplace. Enjoy the open pit for fires in the sprawling back yard (when permitted). This is a perfect place to gather with friends and loved ones to create lasting memories. You can easily walk to Pickleville Playhouse for live entertainment. (reservations required) Walk 9/10 mile to the public beach access on the 250 E Loop Road. Many other public beach accesses are located near the home. This is a great home that is 10* clean, with comfy beds and 10 bathrooms! The bonus room and outdoor space was fabulous for our children and the location is perfect to get to town and the beach within minutes! We had a wonderful time. Everything about our stay was great. The yard itself was probably our favorite part, so big, and with fun things already in place for everyone to do. The co-host was very helpful when we had questions, and helped ensure everything was in working order. Overall a wonderful experience. Would recommend.

This place was bigger than what I pictured it was going to be like. It worked fantastic for what I needed it for and the fact that there were so many bathrooms nobody had to wait to go. That is important with small kids. Lots of parking which was a must for my group. Everyone really enjoyed the stay here.

The property was in a great location. Plenty of room inside and great having 2 kitchens. Loved the wrap around porch. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Would love to come back again but the price has gone up so will probably look elsewhere. Hard time getting owner to answer some texts.

Family Reunion 2019
We had our family reunion of 45-ish people and all stayed in the one house! It was so much fun! Everyone had a good time and it didn't feel over crowded. Ellen was great too! Such a nice place to go! Thank you!

The "Heber C" was a lovely home - it accomodated our group of 15 adults and 14 young children very nicely. And, it felt like a "home" - not an impersonal hotel room. We gathered our now grown children and their children together for Christmas - most of our grandchildren are very young - several infants and many toddlers. Their parents mentioned that this home worked well to give them enough private bedrooms to hold their children. They also liked the kitchens on two floors. We ate all our meals together, but it was nice to have two prepping areas. There is a large play room off over the garage that is somewhat separate from the main house (the staircase reaching it is in the home, but it is the only room at the top of those stairs - the 2nd story bedrooms are reached by a different staircase.) It would be a great room for older kids/youth to have a big sleepover but our grandchildren were too little for that. They did enjoy using the large space for running around and playing with toys (some are provided, but we had our own, too). And, we enjoyed having an indoor place to let them run, since it was too cold for them to spend much time outside.
Everything in the home was clean and well-maintained. There really are 30 extra mattresses in the play room that can be taken off into bedrooms if you need another bed there. There was plenty of equipment for the kitchen - everything we needed was available to us.
I had worried about the main floor living room being kind of small - the main part of it is about 20 feet by 20 feet - but it extends into the kitchen and there is a smaller part of the room at the end of the kitchen that made it all feel very open and spacious and we all hung around in there without feeling cramped or in each other's way. The main floor forms an "L" shape - living room connected to kitchen connected to a large dining table area (we put up an extra table while we were there so we could all eat in the same space). There are stools around the kitchen bar that held all of our older grandchildren (6 or 7 stools, I think).
The bedrooms were lovely - the two king suites are especially spacious. Some of the smaller bedrooms are basically a bed and not much else, but they were not cramped feeling. There were plenty of bathrooms - logically placed throughout the home.
I can't think of anything to complain about! We loved our stay there and appreciated the Christmas decorations - tree and outdoor lights! Thanks!

It was the best home we have rented to accomdate our family of 28. It was well equipped and had adequate parking. It was clean and the owner was very accommodating in providing for our needs.

Fabulous! We want to return.
The home is even better than we had hoped: Roomy, great floor plan, clean, teenage boys had their own space, plenty of room to gather, enormous yard for Ultimate Frisbee and night games, beautiful deck. Ellen was amazing! So fast to answer our questions. The location is good. There was room to park the boat nearby. 15 adults and 16 children. Stayed 4 nights. Would have liked to stay longer! EVERYONE agreed that this is the perfect home for our reunions!
