Close to everything - airport, bars, beaches, warungs, restaurants. Incredible value for money if you have a long layover or a flight and you want to stay somewhere walking distance. I liked walking around and experiencing normal Balinese life in the city.
They could’ve replaced the bathroom mat with a cleaner one and freshened up the room but these are super minor complaints.

We only stayed one night as we had a flight the next day at the airport. So our overall experience was limited. Location is great as it is so close to the airport. The staff were lovely and helped arrange our transport to the airport for us. The room was bright and clean. Honestly, for the cost, it is a great choice for transitioning to other places abd a short stay.
Unfortunately, we had issues with our AC. Although it was on and blowing air out it was coming out warm, so even though we had it down to 16°c it meant the room was very warm the whole night.
The toilet also had a leak in the bottom with water running out of it a bit. Wasn't a big problem, but might need to be looked into.

Asta House is the perfect stay in walking distance to the airport. Located in a dead-end side road, it is very calm as well, without traffic noise.
The owners are great - they waited for my arrival even though it was in the middle of the night. And the check-out until 12 is also perfect to sleep off the jetlag.

The location.
Some of the hotel pictures on the web is that of another property (a relative/brother has another property with the swimming pool I was told by Asta house owner when I went looking for the promised pool, he said when guests arrive if they weren’t happy then he takes them across to his brothers hotel who had the pool). Seems to be a deal between them, if a guest challenges it then he moves them to the other hotel otherwise gets away with false advertisement /promise and charges for facilities that doesn’t exist.
