Albatros Beach Hotel

All great as far as we are concerned.

The breakfast was very good with great variety. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked exceptionally well.

I wish the parking was not an extra charge and more convenient to get to.

The experience was SUPERB from start to finish. The staff was super welcoming and smiley. We arrived before check-in and we could leave our trolleys at the reception which were later delivered to our room. We were given complimentary access to the beach club with beds and umbrella, including a tote bag with 2 sea towels!!! And we got to keep the tote bag too at the end of our stay 😍. The sea experience was amazing, the life guard managed to accomodate us at the front row and we had lunch at the solarium. Food and wine were more than good, up to what you would expect for sicilian standards. The room was amazing, huge size room and very big bathroom; every room in this hotel has a balcony and we were looking directly at the sea and palms! The air-con was working wonders even though outside was 40 degrees Celsius. Nespresso machine with coffees and ancillaries and complimentary bottle of water! Mini bar was stocked up too! They provided us with everything we could possibly need, even toothbrushes at no extra cost! They also have their own cars and minibus for transfers. After check out they drove us to the station in Letojanni and we managed to catch our train (i was panicking as the train was in 10 minutes but they drive us there with minutes to spare 😅) I have rarely had a such good experience in an hotel, and I would DEFINETELY recommend Albatros Hotel and use it again next year!

I didn't like that I had to leave the next day! 😆 Wish I could stay there for much longer!

The property is modern and the rooms are spacious and clean.

There are no actual parking facilities in the hotel grounds . The hotel car park is situated 900m (far off) away from the hotel and even though the hotel offers transport from car park to hotel it is very inconvenient to stop by the hotel, ask for the service, drive to car park and get the lift back, every time you decide to leave the hotel. The hotel had around 5-6 car spaces just in front of it. 2 or 3 and sometimes all were constantly left empty. I enquired if they were available against payment but the concierge informed me that they were intended for the hotel service vehicles. The rooms are clean and spacious however you are unable to control the climate control panel as it is set by the hotel. Even with the climate controller switched off cold air still was felt exiting from the grille and during the night we were really cold.
