Very good

the layout was great for our small group and the fact there were multiple toilets / bathroom areas was a big plus. Our host was very helpful and prompt to respond to any questions we had

Great location and the pool was amazing for the kids

Furniture was a little bit outdated but we were not there for luxury. Location and pool made up fpr the small things.

Nice villa close to the beach

Lovely villa with a small but well maintained pool. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. We were met on arrival and the host was very helpful. There are restaurants within a short drive. The property is within walking distance from the beach and very convenient for the airport.

The local beach was very busy with only a small swimming area - there are many better beaches in Mauritius! Unless we kept everything extremely clean, ants found anything left out quickly in the bathroom and kitchen. The villa is also directly under the flight path for large aircraft flying out in the evening so it was a bit noisy.

Truly enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

Perfect location for snorkelling and exploring. Hosts were friendly and readily available by telephone to answer any questions we had.

Amazing stay at Villa Hibiscus

Great place to get away. The owners were really helpful with our requests, the place is equipped with all the amenities that you would need. Each room has AC and fans so you don't get too hot. Everything was really clean and the beds were comfortable. Only a 5min walk to the Blue Bay beach, would highly recommend to anyone!

The TV could be updated but it wasn't a big deal.

good location with reasonable price

Very nice owners. We have received good recommendations about the area and they have explained us everything about the Villa. After some rainy days we had sun and could enjoy the pool. The parking lot is secure and the Villa has an alarm system. We have been served a baby bed and baby chair, which helped a lot. There where some issues during our stay but the owner was helpful to solve them. To walk to the beach is only 5 Minutes, but to discover more you should come with a rental car.

After one day the water pressure was down, so we had issues to wash the dishes and take a good shower. The hot water is solar powered, we had some rainy days therefore we had to wait for hot water in the afternoon. If you don’t like ants, cockroaches or geckos inside your kitchen, you will have issues. ;-) In the booking it’s stated that the airport transfer is included. This seems to be valid only if you are coming from the airport directly to the Villa. For us it was the 2nd location and we required a transfer back to the airport, but it should cost us 700Rs. Better check in advance. The rooms are quite dark inside, even when the sun is shining, reason are the flowers and buildings around the Villa.

wonderful stay at villa hibiscus

beautiful property, adapted for a group of 6. wonderful service from the property manager/owner. great spot (perhaps the best) for snorkeling and great set of activities to do around (Marin parc, île aux cerfs, Mahébourg)… ask the owner for some recommendations, he’s got great ones! :)

Nice villa to try

The host was very nice and comprehensive.. I recommend this villa.. Really calm and 300 m to the beach.. All facilities were provided, wifi bbq..

Nice villa. But could not enjoy our stay because of a cyclone. Hope to be able to go back someday.

Great place, good value for money

It's an amazing place, it's beautiful and the garden with pool is like a little heaven. It's a couple of steps from the beach which is beautiful, lots of locals which is fun to see, also a bit busy. It's clean, the beds are comfy. The owner is very helpful and kind and responds immediately if you have a question! The day trip to île aux Cerfs with the catamaran was amazing!!

We would have liked to have more towels and toilet paper. Also it could have been cleaned, like the bin emptied, once in our 4 days there. There's quite some dogs in the street, which the villa can't help but hurts my dog mommy heart. There isn't a big grocery store nearby so a car is handy! Or the owner will help you with a taxi. Other than that it was really good.
