The apartment is really beautiful and located right in the centre of Cascais, Cassie was a wonderful host and really ensured our stay went smoothly and answered any questions we asked so promptly.

I thought the balcony was excellent - it looked even better in person, and provided a lovely spot for breakfast, evening drinks (& drying clothes!) The location was very convenient being easy walking distance to the beach and train station. There was even a small supermarket literally seconds from the apartment and a food market opposite with live music, street food & quality wine.
It smelled damp when entering. I eventually stood in a chair and managed to open the very high bedroom window which judging by the dust had not been accessed for months. After 4 days of airing the smell had dissipated but clearly needs regular airing between guests. The front door key was very stiff and difficult to insert the cross to correct adjustment. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable - ok for one night but my son was sleeping in it for 4 days - it should really be advertised as a one bed.
