Good location for the Airport
The room had air conditioning/ refrigerator units running outside the window all night. Impossible to sleep!!

Great location for the airport, cheaper parking than nearby hotels, better service than nearby hotels, lovely room and bathroom was spotless.
Lady who checked us in was amazing and sorted us a taxi for our trip to the airport.
Food was ace!
Car park could have bigger spaces and a gate? But understandably as it is a pub carpark.

I like the charm, the fact that it's old makes it interesting and the rooms have character so that was cool. I didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant but it seems like it's pretty good. The location is nothing to be excited about but it was convenient for me for a Heathrow morning flight. It's bus 703 to get to it, stop at Ye Old George

Nice old building, good food.
The place is quite noisy due to close airport and high street under your windows. Our experience was not great as when we arrived we were ask to pay for our room despite that we pays for it months ago to booking.com. I was arguing but because we spend hours driving and our daughter was just sick and needed wash we gave in and paid again to get our room. After I contacted booking.com which contacted the property as they should not charged us and need to refund us. Now it is 4 days later and no refund. In my experience staff could be trained betted. This whole situation with unrightfully charging us for the second time consumes nearly two hours of our stay all together and we don’t have our money. As a compensation they took off £6 from our dinner bill. I would expect better for the inconvenience.

An old pub with rooms, the room was as expected and had recently been re-done. It was clean and had everything you need. Staff were particularly nice, friendly and helpful. Dinner was nice and the breakfast though not cooked was good and we did get some scrambled eggs. All in all a very decent place for the price.
The noise..... Room 3 which we were in was sadly VERY noisy up to midnight since we stayed on a Friday night. It was actually positioned between the main door for the pub which was open during opening hours and next to the smoking area in the beer garden. In hindsight asking to move rooms immediately at check in would have been a better plan but I didn't want to fuss since I had booked a room at a pub on a Friday night instead of a hotel so I perhaps should have expected noise. I did ring the bar to ask when closing time was around midnight as the noise was bad but got no answer unfortunately. Lesson learned.

Lovely welcome. Everything explained, including that only a Continental breakfast would be available. Plenty of free parking. Large room. Comfy bed. Nice toiletries. Good food in the bar/restaurant. Quiet once the traffic died down. Helpful staff.
My room looked onto the street form two windows so had to close the curtains for privacy, but this can't be helped due to the location of the building.

It has beds & a bar!
This morning our driver awoke to find the van he was travelling in had been broken into - in the car park of the hotel/pub. What's worse is that the receptionist declared it isn't the first time!!! No cameras either apparently, no signs nor any security whatsoever.
Whilst you may think vehicles are left at owners risk, it is YOUR car park (at the rear of hotel) and the security for paying guests should be absolutely paramount. How is there not even a cctv over your own car park baffles me entirely

The downstairs room was perfect having my dog with me so I could take her out regularly. The room suited my needs, lovely shower. Lovely big bed, pillows could do with an upgrade though. Staff were friendly and helpful. Free parking was a big plus.
Pity there wasn't a grassy patch on the premisses as I was restricted with taking my dog for a walk and some grass would have been helpful due to my personal circumstances.

The hotel was very comfortable with lots of interesting history. It had a cosy fireplace and lounge area with bar.
The hotel was very close to large buses travelling past the hotel but little you can do about that.

Check in could have been better, check in time was 2pm asked at 1:45 if we could possibly check in a little earlier, room not ready, fair enough, but to go back at 2pm to be told the room was still not ready was not good, was about 2:20 before it was ready, not good when we were in a rush as it was to get ready for Windsor races
