Excellent location in Playa Hermosa

We loved our stay here. It is only two minutes walk to the beach and restaurants. We stayed in the private cacita that is on the property and we felt very lucky we were able to reserve it. It was everything we could have ever wanted and more. The porch with the outdoor seating is amazing. The outdoor kitchen is better stocked with kitchen utensils than my kitchen at home. There were only two of us but would have easily felt comfortable with 4-5 adults total staying there because there are extra bathrooms. Hot water and wifi are great!

it’s a block from the beach, wildlife viewing from the deck, good a/c!

Comfortable beds, lots of comfy pillows, extra blankets in the chalet. Lovely deck with outdoor private kitchen and all that you need to cook and a full refrigerator and freezer- ice filled water bottles are such a treat! we stayed 2 night to decompress from a long winter, then moved on to adventures and a nicer beach, but this is so close to the airport, 15 minutes! that it’s perfect for quickly getting into pura vida! The beach is nice, good swimming, great walking/running and never got busy. Gorgeous sunset. AND monkeys eating from the mango tree in the morning- what’s not to love?!!

they didn’t seem to know we were coming and initially told us it was occupied, but it got straightened out and our chalet was open but they hadn’t cleaned the loft room yet, though it was 5pm. They cleaned it and it was great after that.

Close to beach and wildlife

It was really close to the beach, we got to see howler monkeys in the morning, the shared kitchen and lounge facilities were good and Karla and Marco were both really helpful. There were also some really good restaurants nearby.

It seemed expensive for what it was but I think prices in this area are higher than elsewhere in Costa Rica.

Rough around the edges

One short block to the beach, air conditioning and access to cooking and refrigerator. Outdoor eating area and breakfast available for a small fee. Also a clothes line available. Free coffee was enjoyed.

Broken yard furniture, shower dirty and didn’t drain well, generally run down and not well maintained.
