Arnarstapi Hotel

Location on the peninsula and within walking distance to coastal trail and food options.

Room did not have much of a view. Parking available was far from the room.

Pillows! Bring your own. They are very close to folded up towels.

Lovely location, breakfast and lunch were good, vegetarian friendly. Staff was wonderful

This is not bad for a place to sleep, it is clean, rather spacious and the beds are fine.

This is quite „industrial“ - it isn’t really a hotel, rather a motel of sorts with container-like cabins in a row from the reception. It is totally okay but not super nice. For a weekend getaway we probably should have gone elsewhere. BEWARE Of THE RESTAURANT: I paid almost ISK 4.000 (EUR 28) for a “rich and creamy soup with seafood” which turned out to be (quite tasty) fish broth with only three tiny slivers of probably crab meat. When alerted to this, the very friendly waitress thanked me for my honesty, which was nice but a bit puzzling. Not the dinner I had envisioned but, luckily, I had a bag of popcorn in my room so I survived ;)
