The room and surrounding areas were clean, overall. The location is very centric so it's easy to grab a taxi and move around. The room has all the basic things you would need (towels, soap, glasses, etc.)
I stayed by myself last June and I had a great experience, but this time I felt quite disappointed, to be honest, they kinda rip me off. I got there before 2pm, with my mother, and we decided to pay for early check-in as we really really needed to rest for a bit (also we are not used to the heat of San Pedro Sula). We paid a hefty fee, and to our surprise, the room has a very old AC system, it took half an hour for the room to cool down just a tiny bit, and an employee had to explain to us that the AC HAS A TRICK!! and that we still needed to wait for the room to properly cool down, at the end we didn't rest at all and decided to leave the room to have lunch at a restaurant and give time to the AC to cool the room. So we paid the early check-in for NOTHING!
If the AC has a trick either leave instructions on how to use it or please just invest in a better system. I might decide to look for another hotel next time.
