Right in the historical centre of Laterza, 30 Kms from Matera. Newly removed room with an arched ceiling and lovely bathroom.
The room was up some very steep stairs in a piazza with a very noisy external restaurant that carried on until 2am and was audible despite double windows.
No communication with host who had missed our booking confirmation so when we got there our room wasn’t ready.
No easily accessible bedside plugs. My side was already occupied by what I discovered to be a dirty non working fridge.

It is renovated and in a good location with some view in the city. It could be 9 if they fix some simple issues.
No equipped with almost the minimum basic. Bad decoration. Old blankets and duvets. If they cared of these 3 simple issues I would give 9.
