We had a lovely one-night stay at Uros Samarana Uta Lodge. Thank you to Cesar and his family for being so welcoming and kind. The location was amazing, the food was delicious, and it was great value for money. The facilities were excellent, with warm bedding and a hot shower, which we really appreciated! They also organised boat transport from the port and helped us arrange transport to the airport. Thank you for such a lovely stay, we would definitely recommend it!

Amazing location on the reed island and friendly host. There was also a fire heating the room so it was really cosy. The room was huge with a lovely seating area overlooking the lake

A very charming and unique place to stay, with beautiful views and a wonderfully peaceful and serene atmosphere. Staying on a local Uros island was a special experience, and we really enjoyed learning about how the islands are built and maintained, as well as the history and traditions of the Uros people.
We particularly enjoyed using the complimentary kayaks to explore the island and take in the surroundings from the water.
One area that could be improved is communication in advance. It would have been helpful to know the meal times, where meals would be served, and who would be taking us on the Uros Islands tour and what the tour would involve. It would also have been useful to know beforehand whether the kayaks were available to use freely whenever we wanted.
We recognise that it might not have been such an issue if we had good Spanish!
