About this condo rental
Kamaole Sands #10-216 is a single level 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the second floor. It has a fully-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, on-demand water heater, 3 large flat-screen Smart TVs, telephone, and free Wifi. There is split system air conditioning in the living and master bedroom (no a/c in bedroom 2), and ceiling fans throughout. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in bedroom 2. The master bedroom also has a desk with a computer monitor (need to bring your own laptop & HDMI cable). The TV is the bedroom 2 is for streaming only; it has no cable service. Both bathrooms have showers only (no tub). For outdoor activities, #10-216 is equipped with beach chairs, and beach towels. Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation. Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights. Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features four tennis courts (no fee) with a daily drop-in program, Spinshot tennis ball machine, and weekly free clinic by a USPTA Pro. Adult and junior tennis rackets are available to rent with complimentary balls. Kamaole Sands offers 2 pickleball courts; paddles are available for rent and quiet pickleballs are available at no charge. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. The location and the actual condo were great. The kitchen was well stocked, and we had plenty of toiletries for our stay. The coffee maker was broken, but it was replaced same day by the rental agency. It was very nice to have access to beach items (chairs, towels, boogie boards), but the beach umbrella was broken. I also appreciated the notes from the owner on best things to do on the island.
My major complaint is that the condo was not ready for us by the 4pm check in. We arrived ~5pm (after a very long travel day) and the door was wide open and was in the process of being cleaned. I asked the rental agency staff for an estimation on when it would be accessible and never got a response. So after carrying all of our stuff up there, we had to carry it back to the car, go eat and come back later. Parts of the condo did not seem very clean (especially the floors - they were VERY dirty when I had to wipe up a spill in the kitchen), and it appeared that the towels that were out were not fresh (or the quality of the towels are very poor - appearing dirty). Also a note about the temperature of the non-A/C bedroom - it is VERY warm. We were not able to keep it comfortable with the method used by other reviewers (door open and box fan blowing in from living room), so be aware if you have a temperature sensitive sleeper for that room. Upon arrival the code to access the rental was not updated in the app the property management company recommended we download. We then had to wait outside the unit with groceries for 20 minutes while we got in touch with the company for the correct code. Once we entered the unit the air conditioning was OFF and all blinds were open - causing it to be over 80 degrees in the unit. It took a full 24 hours for the temperature to come to a comfortable level. It didn’t help the small bedroom does not have an AC unit- so it was really uncomfortable the first night. This condo is in a great location and the view from the lanai is beautiful. The second bedroom needs a new mattress (super soft) and the pillows in the whole condo all need replaced, they were very flat and dingy looking.

Love this property!!! Very clean, easy access and close to the beach. The only thing I will say is that from the pictures, I expected this to be right on the beach. It is very close however, there is a very busy road right in front of the property. Amazing views and a great place to stay!

This was our first time at Kamaole Sands, & we really enjoyed it. This unit is very nice and has a great view of the beautifully maintained grounds and the ocean beyond. The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was much appreciated. The management company was easy to work with, and very responsive to my emails. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo.

Beautiful place. Great memories.
Everything was great except the parking the first 2 days of our stay. Another car was in our assigned spot. We were given a temporary spot until they could resolve. Then someone parked in our temporary spot. We were given another temporary spot. This went on for the first 2 days of our vacation. The condo was perfect. The beach chairs and boogie boards were a big hit. We walked across the street to the beach daily. My teenage girls also loved the pool. Everything about this property was gorgeous. We took several family pictures around the gardens and fountains. The view from the balcony was breathtaking, morning or night. Shopping and restaurants were nearby. We walked on multiple occasions. Thank you for the memories!!

This was our first time at Kamaole Sands, & we really enjoyed it. This unit is very nice and has a great view of the beautifully maintained grounds and the ocean beyond. The bed was very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was much appreciated. The management company was easy to work with, and very responsive to my emails. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo.

Our condo fit us perfectly, spacious layout, nicely decorated, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and wonderful location overlooking fountains with a beautiful ocean view. The Maui Rental Staff answered all our questions promptly and even gave us a microwave loaner when the one in the condo didn't work. The only suggestion we have is that more detailed instructions on how to operate everything, TV, AC, Fans and indication of where to find particular light switches. But again, the Maui Staff responded quickly when we had a question. We would stay in this condo again in a heartbeat.

J & D's condo was a perfect fit for us, great location, beautiful decor, spacious layout, well equipped kitchen, super comfy beds, beautiful ocean view and very attentive staff, quickly responding to every question we had. The only suggestion we have is that there are more detailed instructions in the condo for the TV, Fans, Air Conditioning and Light switches, eg for the Lanai. But everything worked wonderfully once we asked for and received instructions. We would return to our Aloha Home Away from Home in a heartbeat!

Unit 10-216 felt like home as soon as we stepped inside. It was a well appointed with newer appliances including a dishwasher! The two bedrooms were very comfortable, along with the two bathrooms, it easily accommodated four adults. The view from the lanai was gorgeous! we sat out there most of the time we were there. The lanai closet is well stocked with beach supplies.
Our location just across the street from Kamaole Beach 3 was incredible! We could walk to so many sights and beaches. Sunsets from the beach (or in the water at the beach) were amazing! We highly recommend this unit!

Perfect VRBO
This property was perfect for two couples. We each had our own bathroom and private rooms. The condo was clean, all the furnishings and linens were in great shape. The kitchen had everything we needed; we made coffees, lunches, and even did steaks on the BBQ. The view from the balcony is the BEST! The photos don't do it justice. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony every morning of our stay. We thank the owners for sharing their amazing place with us. Can't wait to come back!! :)
