- The staff were amazing and extremely welcoming and friendly.
- the gardens were very well maintained and a joy to look at.
- the bungalow was a good size.
- the location was quite secluded and not near any local amenities.
- the access road from Siquijor port was difficult for tricycle drivers to navigate as it wasn't paved enough in places causing a very bumpy ride, something I feel would stop people returning.
- no dedicated restaurant on site I feel was a big missed opportunity.

Our stay at the Garden Bungalow in Siquijor was overall a great experience. The property itself is beautiful peaceful, well-maintained, and exactly what you’d want for a relaxing getaway. The bungalow is comfortable, clean, and has a really nice atmosphere.
The staff truly stood out. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, which made everything even more enjoyable.
One thing I really appreciated was their honesty and thoughtfulness. I accidentally left my gold ring behind, and they went out of their way to send it back to me. On top of that, they even included a cute bracelet and pendant as a kind gesture. I’m truly grateful for their kindness it meant so much to me.
Getting to the location can be a bit challenging, especially if it’s your first time in Siquijor. The roads can be a little rough, and navigation might feel confusing at first. I highly recommend arriving before nighttime, as it can be easy to get lost in the dark.

VERY quiet. The quietest place I've stayed at in the Philippines, and I've stayed at many places. They arranged a rental car at a good price. Breakfast was modified to my liking. The coffee was excellent.
In the first room the aircon didn't work. Was moved to another room where the water heater made the water far too hot even at low setting. Got through it by switching the water heater off and on frequently. It's kinda far from San Juan where almost all of the good restaurants are located.

We had an enjoyable and comfortable stay - one garden view room and a triple room. The place is close to Siquijor port (about 8 min drive), peaceful and quiet. Bong warmly welcomed us, provided a map and pointed out places of interest. He also arranged for a car rental for us to use to go around. We appreciated the pick up and drop off arrangement from and to the port. He was also very responsive to our concerns. The staff were happily helpful. We also appreciated that there was drinking water available at all times. There was also a day when they hosted a happy hour with free cocktails. But we missed it because we had to leave to catch the sunset. Highly recommend and we would stay here again.
There's a short stretch of rough road to the place but manageable. The hot shower in the triple room could not be regulated to a warm temperature. Just a slight turn would give very hot water.
