The owners were very friendly & the facilities were good. The bed was comfy!
It didn’t have hot water & was £16 a night. It’s common for there not to be hot water on Gili T, however I don’t think £16 is good value for money.

Eieren av Akalanka var utrolig hyggelig og behjelpelig, og så ut til å drive stedet alene. Prisen var svært god og det var air condition på rommet, noe som vi fant svært viktig ettersom øyen er veldig varm. Katten som bor på premissene var veldig vennlig og søt den også. Beliggenheten er kjempegod. Hvis du skal opp i standard tror vi du må veldig opp i pris også, og det er begrenset hva du finner på øyen. Alt i alt har vi ikke noe spesielt å klage på.

Beds are super comfortable! And it had a duvet which is such a nice change from the sheets they give you across Asia. Bedside lamps and nice size room so lovely ambience. Owner is so so lovely; really kind, let us fill our water bottles up and also allowed us to store some bits in his fridge, and gave us some hot water in mugs for our morning coffees 🙌🏽 wifi worked, and location is a decent spot.
So all rooms have TV’s in but none of them work, which is a little frustrating. Our bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly on check in as the toilet was dirty 🙈 but the bedroom and bedsheets were spotless so I think this was just a little mistake! Also had a funny smell in the bathroom but this is common across Indo!
Rest of our stay was extremely comfortable and would recommend staying here.

Lovely room, good sized bathroom & nice there was a mirror/dressing table in the room. Location was good, 10 mins from main harbour & 20 mins from turtle point & sunset beach! Lovely helpful staff, really smiley and offered bike services and excursions!
Shower was really cold with no option to be warm & bathroom had a damp/sewage smell to it. Lamps & TV did not work which was also a shame.
