Situated in Pacific Beach, this lovely condo for $195 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Way Better Than a Hotel! Ocean Front/View! Pool, Dedicated Parking Spot, WiFi Sleeps 4 Clean! Rental unit is directly on the ocean. The ocean is visible and there are no other properties between this property and the ocean. This 3rd floor unit has a great location at 4667 Ocean Blvd, San Diego, CA 92109, USA. Web search the address to see it's oceanfront spot. Walk out the front door of the complex and be greeted by a stunning view of the Pacific Ocean or enjoy the most beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool is heated to 80 degrees. Air Conditioner available upon request at time of booking for $10 per day. Floor unit, Vents through window. Cools bedroom only. The unit's main window has a nice view of the Crystal Pier and the surfer's that enjoy the break there. The beautiful sounds of the ocean are easily heard from the unit. Very convenient location to the San Diego airport. The unit has Wifi access and a dedicated underground parking space (6'height limit). Pacific beach is located off I-5 and Garnet Ave. The beach area south of Crystal Pier is known as Pacific beach. It is a two-mile stretch of sandy beach packed with people, fun waves, an active boardwalk and plenty of space to sunbathe. North Pacific beach is located north of Crystal Pier, a public pier good for strolling and fishing. The city of Pacific Beach is vibrant and hip. The main streets of Garnet and Grand, which lead to the beach, are lined with shops, bars, restaurants and novelty stores. The Pacific Beach crowd really is unique and make for a fun beach experience. It’s an eccentric community, which ranges from the casual surfer to the tattooed punk rocker to the average college kid. Needless to say it’s a fun place to people watch. The boardwalk parallels the beach and is lined with shops, restaurants, beach rentals and some apartments for the lucky few who get to enjoy a beautiful beach sunset from their doorstep and a crazy and exciting town just around the corner. The boardwalk is popular all throughout the day and a great place for cycling, jogging, walking or rollerblading. Almost all water activities are practiced at this beach from surfing, to boogie boarding, swimming and skim boarding. Surfing is popular at this beach. The waves are fun and depending on the conditions can be suitable for all levels of surfing. There are however separate areas for surfing and swimming. Flags are usually posted to indicate the designated surfing areas. Lifeguards are on duty year round. The appartement was well furnished, all slept good. Kitchen had all necessary utensils for a family to quickly fix something. The Complex was very well kept with pool area and bbq-area. Wonderfully close to Ocean for any time of the day walks. Good possibilities to shop groceries etc. Comfortable parking. We had a very nice stay.

Easy check in. Dean is very responsive. Located right on Pacific Beach. Ocean view to one side but no balcony. Comfortable beds. Great parking but a tight garage so best for small to medium sized cars. Lots to do in the area with great restaurants within walking distance. Condo and building in need of a bit of TLC but overall nice enough while a bit dated.

I don't expect perfection, but there is a lot of grey area between better and perfect. This property has some deficiencies but overall is a decent place. The owner was great to work with and communication was strong. The property location is excellent ; right across the promenade from the beach with a limited view of the pier, water, and surfers.
Wi-Fi service had problems and the owner made ME contact the ISP (And then pretend I was the subscriber) to reset it. The ISP is Spectrum and in my opinion all of the equipment should be from that ISP (not a self-owned router) to improve repair-ability. Cable TV wires are bunched up next to curtains and thus easily pulled out; this should be fixed with some rearranging and securing the cable input so it does not fall out.
3 remotes in Living Room which one works? How to turn on TV? Better guidance here would help, as would a channel listing.
Bedroom TV never did get a signal, so it was worthless.
Unit has two windows which provided good cross-ventilation, but were VERY hard to open (making us fear breakage, it took two of us to get them to open. Window tracks need to be cleaned and then waxed.
Dirt on top of fridge and in dishwasher. DW might have been sand that has accumulated and not flushed out. Bathroom dirty enough that my wife reported "hair" on the floor (not ours). Shower rod nearly falling off walls, and the tub drains very poorly.
Pool and Hot Tub were very clean and lightly used.This amenity was top notch.

The location was great. The condo not so great. Found the the condo on the dirty side, out dated and furniture reminded me of my first apartment at 18. The cabinets grimy and sticky. There were only 3 bath towels and two beach towels for a 5 day stay. 2 rolls of tiolet paper, no coffee filters . The view was on an agle to the beach over a building and no balcony. Parking under building was extremely tight. I had an suv that barely fit, thank god the garage was not full. The owner seemed nice enough and we didnt have any issues with him. There were no garbage bags for trash. The condo is not airconditioned we had to rent a room ac for an additional 10 a night.The cost for this with all the fees we could have stayed at a nice hotel

Beautiful beach-front property with all the amenities. Super comfy bed, kitchen, flatscreen, two bikes with lock, pool, garage, and even a view of the pier surfers! So close to a ton of action. Safe and roomy! I will stay here again for sure!

the condo was very equipped with everything we needed. I loved having the bikes and boards to ride and swim with. . Our host Dean was very helpful and nice ! He always responded if we had questions . Thanks again Dean!

Wow, couldn’t get any closer to the beach! The rental had everything we needed. Loved the parking garage and access to the bicycles. Owner provided great details on the property on how to access all the amenities. Zero problems!

We had a great stay at Dean’s property. It is close to everything that Pacific Beach has to offer. We were visiting our son who has a place near Tourmaline Beach so we couldn’t have picked a more convenient location. Having an underground parking space was a nice bonus as were the bikes. Everything was as advertised by Dean and Dean gives good, detailed instructions for the use of his VRBO.

Prior to our arrival, we received a very detailed Welcome Letter, which made check-in a breeze. The apartment is as described, and for two of us, very roomy. The kitchen has all the ammenties if you decide to cook a meal or snack. We utilized the BBQ located in the courtyard to grill up some incredible steaks we picked up at the nearby grocer, Ralphs, a quick jaunt away. The bathroom layout was great, as the front area was fantastic for me to get ready for the day, while my fella showered in a second area. (Fantastic water pressure in the shower!) We were quite pleased that the bed was indeed very comfortable. There is a ceiling fan in the bedroom, but as the apartment was not hot during our stay, we didn't utilize it. The one reason we chose this apartment was the location, and the location did NOT disappoint! We were within walking distance to the main boardwalk strip, loads of restaurants, coffee joints, pubs, little eateries and giftware shops. As well, the location is steps away from Mission Blvd where we found a great little pizza place, Theo's and many other shops and sites to browse. During our stay, we did take use of the two cruiser bikes available and cycled to Sea World, only a 24 minute leisure peddle along the marked bike path. If you want to be within very close proximity to the ocean and have the sounds of the crashing waves lull you to sleep, this is your place :)

This place was perfect! It was very quiet and was very comfortable. The parking stall was extremely convenient and secure. Our contact, Dean, was very helpful and answered our questions immediately. We walked up and down the beach, found some great places to eat and rode all over the place with the bikes. Everything was supplied. This place has the best hot water supply! I would definitely stay here again. Definitely a 5 out of 5!

Clean and comfortable with nice little kitchen for preparing food. Could use some small repairs especially electrical outlets. The unit had everything we needed. We appreciated having a designated parking space. Convenient to beach, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed looking out a window to see the beach and hear the surf.

The location and parking was fabulous. There was a couple of thing that could have been better. The condo was really warm and no air conditioning and the oven didn't work. We still had a fabulous vacation right on the beach. The owner of the condo was easy to get ahold and quick to respond.

Loved the location. It is an older building which we were aware from the listing and was no problem. However, it was obvious the place hadn't been thoroughly cleaned for quite some time and was in somewhat poor repair. Light only worked in the front bathroom sometimes, mold in the water container of the coffee maker, food mess in refrigerator, sticky knobs in the kitchen, sand on the floor in the bedroom and when bedroom closet was opened sand chairs and cooler tumbled out.

My daughter and I went to San Diego for other reasons and ended up needing somewhere other than a hotel to stay in. We looked at so many properties then circled back to this one. We were skeptical because it didn't have 2 bedrooms- only pull outs in the living room and one bedroom. We decided to take a chance on the pull out as others had commented that they were comfortable. We decided that if they weren't then we would take turns sleeping in the bedroom. My daughter took the first night- we were exhausted as we had a busy day- she used the pull out bed (not the sofa bed so can't comment on that) and she stayed all the nights on that! She said she was quite comfortable with 2 fans and the window open during the night. During the day we closed the heavy curtains (THANKS for the heavy curtains) as it was very warm during the day and closed the window to keep out some hot air. It was still hot but manageable. I paid for the air conditioner in the bedroom so it was cool. The bed was a bit softer than I prefer but still comfortable! The beach chairs (a nice selection), umbrellas x 3 and the 2 coolers were a GREAT touch! We packed our water and everything down to be beach and didn't have to leave! That was exactly what we were looking for! The beach is SO SOFT and we were lucky because the water was warm and fun to play in! The building is quiet and the people there were super friendly! At night it was quiet enough to leave the window open so that was good! Lots of places to eat and get a beverage within walking distance! The Vons is a quick drive for additional groceries! Dean was SUPER helpful not only with check in but suggestions of places to go for coffee and to eat- THANKS DEAN! There was a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom which were both smart TVs so that was nice to wind down a busy beach day!
Now, a couple of things that we observed. There was a half bottle of water left in the fridge and a sock in the dresser in the bedroom- that was not so great, Dean needs to make sure that the cleaning company is doing a good job if he's paying them. Also I'm not sure anyone has vacuumed under the bed for ? years.... The condo and the building are dated and the condo could use a coat of paint in the bathroom especially. Appliances could be updated.
Now... all that being said my daughter and I would MOST DEFINITELY stay here again if we make it to San Diego again! We decided that we loved staying RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!

We had a great time here. It's right on the beach and there is a lot of restaurants and a Ralph's grocery store within walking distance. I liked that we had guaranteed parking in the garage and that we could go in and out without the keys, so we could just wear the swimsuits and walk out to the beach to swim.
The area can get a little noisy at night, with a lot of people hanging out on the boardwalk, but we always felt safe in the building and did not have any issues. No complaints. Great place to stay.
