It has a beautiful location on the coast road in Old Jeju. You are directly across from a very popular coastal area. The hostel has a great rooftop that offers views of the ocean and coastline. Down the road is a nice sandy beach area. There are many choices for eating and John, who is a volunteer there, is so knowledgeable about how to enjoy Jeju using the bus system which can be difficult. He made it a breeze to hike Mt. Halla and recommended other places and things to do (like hike the near by hill and watch the planes at night).
While less new than other hostels I have stayed at, the rooms were spacious, the bathrooms sufficient, great aircon and location and staff. Although the beds are very firm, the mattresses are wide and height is tall so I did not feel squished. The cost I’d worth the location and amenities.

I loved how the hostel provided all the information, and helped you with everything they could. I broke my phone, and without question, i could lent a tablet from one of the staff. It was amazing !! Also, the hostel provides tours that you can join. Its easy if you don’t have a car.
The bed was quite hard, so I didnt have the best sleep.

Very helpful and friendly staff that spoke English. It was nice & close to the Airport. And had as great view of the ocean.
The coffee was good, however the breakfast was very minimal with bread & cereal.

Die Lage war in Ordnung und mit dem Bus gut erreichbar. Das Personal war freundlich und hat alles verständlich erklärt. Auch der Gutschein für ein Willkommensgetränk war eine nette Geste.
Leider war die Sauberkeit ein großes Problem. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Duschkabine, Toilette und sogar die Hausschuhe wirkten sehr alt und abgenutzt. Vieles sollte dringend erneuert oder renoviert werden. Dadurch fühlte ich mich nicht besonders wohl.
Außerdem sind die Wände und Türen sehr dünn, sodass man Geräusche aus dem Flur, der Küche und den Nachbarzimmern deutlich hören kann. Das hat die Nachtruhe erheblich beeinträchtigt. Zusätzlich hat mich das helle Licht im Zimmer gestört, das auch nachts sichtbar war und das Einschlafen erschwerte.
