Great place for the view, otherwise wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel has amazing view of Mt Cook, great location, also very close to Hooker Valley.

The restaurants and cafe could really improve a bit more, it’s quite an expensive place after all. We booked a premium plus King room and to be honest the room is not very spacious, there’s not enough space to just lay down suitcases.

위치가 아주 좋았고 방에서 보이는 뷰도 아주 좋았습니다. 저녁 뷔페도 종류도 다양하고 나쁘지 않았다. 방은 깨끗하고 따뜻했음.

체크인 시 직원이 기계적이고 불친절했음. 날씨에 따른 입산가능여부에 답변이 미비했고, 저녁 식사 예약도 8시 밖에 안된다고 했으나 실제 레스토랑에서는 그 전에도 가능했음.

We were told that we would be rung about the availability and cost of charging our EV. We didn't receive a call. I think this is going to increase as an issue, so perhaps you should front foot it and also aim to make it free or close to it.

Snow and Relaxation - absolutely beautiful

We just love the location and the atmosphere within. The staff are incredibly friendly - and we loved the snow we had while we were there.

Amazing views, great food and excellent location!

We had a small but comfy room with a great view. The ranch slider opening out onto cobbled space was a welcome bonus. The bed was ok. Everything was clean and comfortalbe. I was sceptical about the buffet for breakfast and dinner as that was all that was available, and while it was relatively expensive pp, the food quality was actually very high and it didn't dissapoint. For someone that doesn't like buffet I was impressed! I also found all the staff encredibly helpful and friendly.

For what it offers in July, significantly overpriced.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the location is perfect, the outside of the facilities is gorgeous. Food in Buffet was superb. The doc station is the best I have seen.

Very dated on the inside, which conflicts with to modern exterior. Bathroom doors are louvred and afford no protection from sounds or smells. Mattresses were the worst I have ever slept on- bouncing like a waterbed and sliding off the box Springs. Only one restaurant and one cafe were open without any notification on the website that these would be closed. And despite being a hotel that exists for the natural beauty and hikes- no spa, no sauna, no jacuzzi, no swimming pool. With the sore muscles from and physical exhaustion from doing the outdoor activities, this hotel desperately needs something of a spa at the least. Very over priced. The museum is overpriced and a joke. Should be free with as little as is there.

Overall we had a great stay and would book again

Amazing views of Mount Cook and the mountains, very central to all the walks, great bar to have a drink after a walk and watch the views. Breakfast and Dinner buffets were surprisingly good, for a buffet.

Rooms were small. Fine for 1 night but doesn't encourage a longer stay if there are a family of 4.

The breakfast and dinner buffet was awesome, the staff were very friendly and the view out of the window is marvelous. There was some hair on the tub but apart from that it was a great stay.

Location, location !

Amazing location !

Our room view was a bit disappointing. We also didn’t have an outside bench to use. Another restaurant option would have been nice. Buffet was ordinary unfortunately.

Excellent location, very average hotel.

Fantastic location with amazing views of mount cook. Good access to the local hiking trails and activities (particularly the glacier explorers).

Feels like a ‘tourist trap’ in many ways. Only dinner and breakfast options are expensive buffets when we would’ve been happy with something much smaller and cheaper. Rooms are tiny and not clean. Housekeeping came to make up room at 5pm. The museum in the hotel has an additional entry fee despite the significant cost in staying at the hotel in the first place. It feels like they take advantage of the lack of competition in the area.
