Lovely peaceful location after a tiring drive from Warwickshire with long delays on M5.
Finding it was easy even in the dark using what3words thanks to guidance from the owner to use this and not postcode with satnav. If you use the latter you are likely to end up at a neighbouring farm.
Bedroom was spacious and a comfortable temperature on a cold evening. You will wake to a glorious view of the Devon countryside in the morning with swallows still swooping around the house in early September.
Good facilities in bedroom and ensuite bathroom.
The bed was exceptionally comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent. I had cereal, full English, toast( homemade bread) and great coffee in a cafetiere.
Susan Pile could not have been more helpful and I took advantage of the menu option to have a sandwich made for later. Various choices of filling available. Again, homemade bread.

Location and that property had a cot and high chair. Parking at property.
No fan in bedroom which was very hot.
Shower had issues.
Due to windows open and working yard sometimes it was tiny bit noisy.

stunning location! my large room had a view over the rolling hills. there were sheep everywhere; swallows were happily dive bombing the roof right above my window. in the morning: delicious scrambled eggs!
the shower was almost impossible to turn on - at one point i was going to give up, but i had been driving for two days in the heat wave with the roof down and couldn't bear the thought of another day feeling gritty. smelling worse.
the lighting was terrible - tiny lamps on low nightables - couldn't read in bed.
the taxidermied animals everywhere were not only creepy, but i spent the night coughing and sneezing.
