It was a great value. There was a hot shower. The hostel offers stuff to do like ping pong, billiard etc. The owner was nice. The location is good - close to hikes, a grocery store, fonda.
The kitchen wasn't very clean. The room was really dark - there is a window, but not much light enters. The mattress was covered in plastic, and it was kind of wobbly. The fan is too loud; we could not sleep with it on.

Secure parking for motorbikes and large overlanders. You can camp in the yard or stay in the hostal.
Has a games/sitting area, nice kitchen.
Large area and has lots of rooms, dorms and private.
Rooms are stuffy, only one ceiling fan. Could use an extra fan. Kitchen needs to be cleaned a bit.

Quirky place, cool !
I was in a private which was fine but I was woken in the early hours by a group returning from a night out which was way past the curfew time. The noise and chatter went on for an hour

We liked the location of this hostel. It was super convenient to get local busses and close enough to walk to the India dorminda trail head which we enjoyed. The staff were also very kind and helpful. They played good music and we felt really safe.
The hostel is not clean and the facilities are really lacking. If you’re someone that likes to cook for yourself at hostels, the kitchen here is pretty bad. Everything is poorly cleaned, there are so many things missing and the kitchen itself is just not a place you feel great to walk into. As for the room, there is a clean smell of mould and stail air. The roof was moulding, the shower curtain was covered in mould and it just felt like you couldn’t put your things anywhere that felt clean.
