We loved this beautiful old house, wonderfully decorated with antique furniture and full of character. The gazebo and barbecue area were also lovely. The location was very convenient, close to Château de Chenonceau and to supermarkets.
The owner was very helpful and attentive, coming by several times to make sure everything was okay. We were also warmly welcomed with a bottle of wine, which was a very nice touch.
There was a little noise from passing trains. Also, there was a portable AC unit in one room and only a fan in the second, which might not be sufficient during very hot weather. Fortunately, the heatwave had just ended during our stay, so this wasn't an issue for us.

Hacia mucho fresco, y en una ola de calor se agradece, poder entrar y no pasar calor. Hasta dormir tapado. Muy tranquilo. El patio afuera está muy bien para salir a cenar. Original el dormir en una cueva y decoración curiosa. Muy amplio todo, salón, dormitorio y baño
Aparcamiento al otro lado de la carretera sin sombra, algo aislado hay que usar coche para todo. Al principio cuesta entender el uso de deshumidificador pero después es fácil. El wifi generalmente funcionaba bien pero a veces se iba. Pero son detalles no muy importantes
