Exceptional

Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was spotless and good quality shower. Breakfast was perfect before a big day out at the Skelligs. Hosts were friendly and so helpful, even before I came to stay!

Walls are a little thin but that seems to be the case in most places.

Amazing!

Great place, the host was truly amazing and went out of her way to make our trip even better. Fantastic place to stay and a really nice breakfast. All in all would highly recommend this place and would book again in a heartbeat!

Highly recommended

Eibhlinn was a fantastic hostess, she gave lifts to and from local restaurants. Breakfast and service impeccable .

We had a clean and comfortable room with ocean view and sunset inclusively. Elaine was an excellent host, who provided not only all information to explore Valentia Island but also offered us a shuttle service with her car to Chapeltown for dinner and to Portmagee for the Skellig Tour. Breakfast was superb and covered all needs of cyclists. Cuas a' Gamhna and Valentia Island was one of our best places on our 4 week bicycle tour along the Wild Atlantic Way, but sadly we had to leave and cycle forward after two nights.

Perfect base & host!

We had a fabulous stay here with Eileen! Perfect base if you are visiting Skellig Michael and the beautiful surrounding areas of Valentia Island. She gave us some great tips on what to see in the area and accommodated our early start by setting us off with a superb breakfast. Her home is beautiful and we loved the welcome by her dogs outside 😍 And thank you again for a putting together a delicious lunch for our trip-went down a treat on the Skelligs!

Cozy and friendly B&B - Perfect place to stay near Portmagee!

Fantastic place to stay very close to Portmagee, so much to see nearby. Beautiful house, very friendly hosts. Rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended!

I didn't have any complaints or issues, perfect stay.

Superb

Eileen is a marvellous host, she really puts effort into her BnB you can tell with her service. She has a wealth of knowledge about Valentia island too so if you're looking to go sight seeing, she will set you on the right track. House is only a five minute drive from Portmagee. Breakfast is really nice too.

Friendly helpful host

Friendly but not intrusive host. Eileen went above and beyond what we would expect when we arrived wet and cold after cycling all day. The shower was really brilliant, hot and powerful.

Lady of the house was very kind and made me packed lunch as I had to leave early and would miss the dreakfast. The bedroom was spotless, warm and cozy.

Beautiful house in quiet location but still close to restaurants. Eileen is a marvellous host. She told us all about the local attractions on Valentia. Her home was in very close proximity for our trip out to Skellig Mhichel after we had a very nice breakfast cooked by Eileen.

We needed a place half way along the Ring of Kerry and just got lucky finding such a wonderful B&B.

Beautiful location! Wonderful friendly hosts and a delightful home. Delicious breakfast. The hostess was very warm and engaging and gave us information about what to see on Valentia Island. It was so helpful as we were kind of in a hurry and had not looked up the island specifically. We took her cues and saw some spectacular sights. We were close to the Skellig Michael Tour boat area and took that tour the next day.

A very pleasant stay, the host was very helpful. Would reccommend it.

The host was very pleasant and very accommodating. We arrived late and were welcomed with a smile and a nice cup of tea. Although it was late evening Eileen (the hosts name) sat with us and gave us a run down on the area. This was indeed very helpful as it allowed us to plan are stay. Eileen even offered to drive us to the local and pick us up from it. Very helpful indeed.

A gem on the island; two gems running it.

The welcome was lovely; thank you Eileen. Danny was a diamond spending much time finding F1 GP the TV for me to watch the highlights. The room was very comfortable, the beds were super (room 2 for us) and the shower in the ensuite was superb. We slept like logs; the location is super quiet and even with the roof windows open, there wasn't a sound from outside - granted, going out to eat was a drive, though on the island, but Eileen offered to drive us if needed-cannot say fairer than that. Lack of TV in the room, caught us by surprise, but is exactly as the description said,and did make for a quite nights sleep, though we were tired anyway we instead had a great night's sleep. Another real benefit for us, being 10 days into a 3 week driving holiday, was the offer to do laundry, which we took up. 2 hours later all was returned, washed and dried and competitively costed-thank you, you're a life saver Eileen. We'd definitely return if you'd have us. . 😊👏

There's not really anything to report here on the don't likes. We located/found the house okay, though in the dark it'd likely be a struggle without say nav I'd say, but no doubt Eileen and Danny would come out to get you if you were really lost. 👍😁

The Lady of the house Eileen met us at her front door & gave us a very warm welcome. She told us all about the Island & gave us recommendations on what to see.The house was spotless.Very comfortable beds & pillows & a lovely breakfast. Thank you Eileen. We will recommend your B&B to our friends.

Beautifully appointed rooms. Eileen made me feel quite at home.

Ensure you use GPS or a saved google map to find the property as there are few roadside signs on Valentia!

I felt at home from the moment I arrived. The host was very welcoming and helpful and I always enjoyed having a chat with her. The breakfast was just beyond, can not compare it with the usual irish breakfast you would get in a B&B, made with so much love, it was just amazing! I will definitely come back :)
