We loved the nostalgia of the place. The history is felt in the walls. It felt like a home away from home.
The rolling hills, openness and the horses. Felt like we were somewhere special.

It exceeded our expectations. The cosyness, the scenery and the Breakfast was great. The even have the horses on site not fr riding thou. They even have lemon trees, we were free to pick lemons.

Breakfast was excellent and their Chicken Curry was excellent.
Our experience of the dining and bar staff was excellent.
The room is comfortable and spacious.
The hotel is starting to appear a little dated in places, but this is not overly negative.
The vervet monkeys can be a problem if you leave windows and doors open, as they head straight for the rusks and in-room tea/cofee setup.

The breakfast was okay.
Our room was very dark and gloomy and extremely cold. It could be fine in summer but definitely not nice in winter.
