So peaceful and quiet, completely immersed in nature. The view is absolutely beautiful. The property is simple and a bit dated but the room was clean and tastefully furnished with lots of local craft wood. We came in the rainy season and were the only guests, had on of the rooms directly on the deck and had the pool for ourselves. We went from sauna to pool to sauna in the intermittent drizzle - quite magical.
The location is kind of hard to find and the road to get there is not great and very steep, yet we didn’t receive any warning or instructions before arriving. Once you are there there isn’t really an easy way to leave unless you have arranged for transport. We went to see the terraces in the early morning and it took us 1 hour uphill to come back.
Though the room had been cleaned and the bedding was laundry-fresh, some details in the room spoke about neglect: the netting on the beautiful posted bed had huge brown stains, and so did the curtains. Also, half of the bulbs in the room were either missing or burnt.
The Indonesian breakfast was set and even though we were the only guests, and no attempt was made to meet our taste. Even only Ready to order eggs would have made a difference.

Friendly staff
The reality is completely different than pictures. The villa is extremly old, the room is nice though.
It is a bit of a walk to arrive which is fine but it would be good to receive instructions beforehand.
