The owner needs to renovate the basics

The property is in a residential colony; feels quite safe. Caretakers were kind and friendly. The apartment has marble flooring so it feels cool even when the temperature outside is warm.

Electricity risk: we wanted to watch TV but its main switch on the ground floor had the wire detached and openly exposed. No one cared to repair it inspite of having a look on the first day. Water: Hot water supply was too low and was annoying while bathing Fan: Old squeaky one that keeps you from sleeping Room door: No idea for other rooms but ours had a glass door and we could hear the chat of caretakers every evening. Basically, you feel people’s presence.

This hotel " Under my roof" was a very good choice for my trip to Delhi. I spent there 6 nights and no one minute regreted about it. It has many advantages: comfortable, clean and very nice rooms, private kitchen with all necessary facilities, lobby for meetings ,tasty breakfast to your room, friendly staff. The market and shops- 3 minutes walk and to the metro - 7 minutes walk through the lovely garden, few stops by metro and you are in the center of Delhi. The hotel is located in the quiet and safety place. My big special thanks to the owner, Mr. Sumir for his care and intelligence. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Preperty misguided the facts.

Nothing.

1. The location is inside a colony, for which the gates will be closed after 11pm. This is not revealed by the property or in any review either. Here the problem we faced. We visited Tazmahal along with brindvan, fathenagar sikri and came back at one midnight. All gates were closed, except one. Auto driver does not know the open gate. Just estimate how much issue we might have faced at that midnight time. Here, what my opinion is that the property should have revealed the fact prior. I suggest the tourists dont prefer this if you want to roam around the city. 2. The staff mr deepak is a nice guy. But not available all the time and even no staff is available to talk. We have to call deepak, then he comes and solve the issue. 3. I opted the room for three adults and one child, but they had given me single large bed and could not provide the extra bed. But charged as usual old charges. 4. Ceiling fan was not working. No response on solution

My stay was so pleasant. I liked the place and the staff. I would stay there when I return to Delhi.

The place is so peaceful. The owner and his staff are so cooperative. The place is clean and the kitchen is upto the standard.

Comfortable and relaxing

Good location (close to shops/restaurants and the metro), very nice house (beautifully decorated, with a comfortable living room), helpful and friendly owner and manager. They even accommodated a late check-out, which we were very grateful for.

We really enjoyed the hospitality. The service was very good. We arrived at 2am in the night and the staff was very helpful and fast with communication. Great stay!
