Mostly, it was fine. The room was, in effect, was a small hotel room. Obviously, most guests go for the springs and other amenities/facilities the resort has and that is, in part, what you pay for. The staff were very good, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, there was adequate storage, plenty of hot water, and, importantly, as it was cold, an air-con unit that also served as a heater. Parking is some way from the accommodation and there is no covered walkway, but there are staff on hand to help. The restaurant was reasonably priced and the breakfast very good.
We asked for a map but the front desk did not have one. When we went back they still did not have one. There was a balcony area outside our room but it was communal. This meant that the curtains had to be permanently closed for privacy. Parts of the resort looked a bit 'tired'. The rooms have been partially refurbished but at minimal cost. The new desk unit and bedside cabinets, for example, are the cheapest/poorest quality I have ever seen in any similar hotel or resort I have ever stayed in.

Beautiful grounds, well maintained. Lovely staff
Bedding and robes were old and tattered. The showers are terrible - poor water pressure and impossible to get the temperature right. It’s very noisy at night - lots of loud neighbours. Not a great place to stay with kids or if you’d like a good nights’ sleep
