Value for money - Geneva is an expensive city to visit and its hard to find good value in a mid-range hotel. 5 minutes walk from both the main station and the lakefront really is what it's all about. This ticks the boxes from a location point of view. The staff were very friendly and helpful offering good advice and assistance when needed. Our room on 2nd floor was on the busier streetfront side of the hotel and we didn't hear any noise at all (and we stayed on a Saturday night) - the only noise we did hear was with the window open the following morning and streetcleaners and traders were in full swing for the next day. As with any city, you exercise caution and common sense when out and about in the evening - yes, there are adult activities going on near enough to the hotel - but they don't interfere with any tourism. No hesitation staying here again.
Baggage storage should be included in the room rate in my opinion. To charge extra for it is unnecessary. Breakfast was a little too steep at 20CHF per person, so we walked to a local bakery and spent less than half that on what we'd likely order in the hotel.
