Very kind owner, the house is really clean and neat. Well-equipped, you can find everything you need. There is a cozy place for barbecue.

We stayed together 6 people at Privat Jan at the beginning of August for 8 nights. The best thing in my opinion here was the location, if you are visiting Slovakia as a tourist. For example Demanovska cave, Tatralandia, Jasna and Štrba was only 25-30 min from us. Also Slovenskij Raj and Špissky hrad was only 40-45min from us. Perfect place also for hikers, who wants to mix Low and High Tatras, in other words Privat Jan is right between two mountain ridges. Also there is some 3 or 4 small grocery shops and a super delicious pizzeria in Vychodna - that's a 10min walk from Privat Jan. Also the city Liptovsky Mikulaš provides you with all you need - restaurants, shopping malls, gallerys, zoo and as already mentioned - Tatralandia.
Hosts are very helpfull, even when its hard to communicate with them in english or russian, with the time we understand each other with sign language :D at the first night host came with bottle of Demanovka liquer - that was very kind.
We really liked the yard with perfect cut of grass and the badminton field - a perfect way to stretch out muscles after a serious hike.
Just a one thing for visitors in summer - especially for those who are allergic to wasp poison. There are some small hole/tunel in one room at the second floor, where wasps come out. Host are trying their best to wipe them out and close the hole, and it works... for a time. Host gave us wasp-poisoning spray, if we see some and then it is save. However, this didn't disturb our stay ar Privat Jan, but for those, who are allergic this info could be helpfull. Let's hope, that next year the hornets will be gone ;)
