Nestled in Fajardo, this charming condo for $155 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Location: Luquillo, Puerto Rico, is a quaint and tranquil little seaside village, uniquely located 40 min. from San Juan International Airport, 10 minutes from El Yunque Rainforest entrance and 10 minutes from Fajardo. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or spending quality fun times with your family, our condo is the perfect place. Of the 3 buildings in the Playa Azul complex, building #1 is the only one located right on the beachfront. This beautiful apartment, is located on the 12th floor of Playa Azul, building #1, with an amazing panoramic view of the ocean, Throughout the apartment, floor-to-ceiling windows provide a cool ocean breeze and breathtaking views. Ceiling fans keep the apartment cool. The apartment is well furnished. Two air-conditioned bedrooms overlook the ocean, each with full private bath and walk-in closet. (One has a queen size bed and French doors opening onto the balcony; the other has 2 queen beds and a spectacular view of the ocean). A well equipped kitchen includes a 4 burner stove, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, coffee pot, a countertop oven and a microwave oven. The living room has a 60-inch flat screen Smart HD-TV with cable and wireless Internet connections. Amenities on the premises include: Private parking lot, a swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts. There is full security at the front gate and lobby. Amigo Supermarket, Walgreens Pharmacy and a Banco Popular ATM are available within walking distance. Located in front of the Building #1, the Playa Azul Beach is not usually crowded and the sand is clean. Beach chairs and a small cooler are available in the wood box on the balcony for your use. If you prefer a beach with calmer waters, including amenities and lifeguards, the famous Balneario Monserate Luquillo Beach is only a few minutes drive from Playa Azul. A bit further, are the famous 'Kioskos of Luquillo' where you can delight in good local cuisine. Otherwise, you can drive to more upscale restaurants in the area. View Map The apartment has a guest book with suggestions of where to eat and activities available in the area. You can hike to beautiful waterfalls or zip-line in the rain forest, book a snorkel trip, kayak on the bioluminescent bay, scuba dive in Fajardo, rent jet skis at Luquillo Beach, go horseback riding or ride go carts at Hacienda Caraballi, go to the casino at a nearby resort hotel or take day-trips to Old San Juan, Ponce or the Camuy Caves. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY *** Guests should be aware that the Playa Azul Beach, in front of the building, has strong currents and ripe tides and while people frequently swim there, caution is strongly advised with different color flags on the beach. *** ALSO, we strongly recommend NOT to leave small children unattended on the condo balcony. Stunning location, high security apartment, gorgeous views from all rooms, beautiful cosy home with ample supplies made our stay memorable. Huge shout out Winnie, the property manager, for always being available for any query. My kids enjoyed the pool and the quick access to Playa Azul, the beach is stunning! We made breakfast and snacks everyday. The kitchen is newly renovated and well stocked. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was a blessing. Glad we booked this place. Will be back here soon.

The view of Playa Azul is amazing from the 12th floor! We were centrally located to all that we wanted to explore in eastern Puerto Rico - Old San Juan, Seven Seas beach and Playa Escondida, Farjado boating excursion to Culebra, hiking in El Yunque. Enjoyed walking directly from the condo onto Playa Azul, La Pared and Punta Bandera - beaches for miles!
Condo layout was great and wonderful ocean cross breezes. It is warm in June, so we took advantage of the large balcony with lots of seating and bedroom air conditioners. The unit had beach chairs and umbrellas that we used frequently. Enjoyed our visit!

Highly recommended, The condo was homey, quiet, and comfortable. Great location, secure. Gated community, plenty of parking. The owners thoughtfully provided a large notebook about the area. It was useful, I recommend you look at it. There is a very large lanai with beautiful 180 views. The manager, Winnie, was amazingly responsive both by text and phone call. There is a large well maintained pool we used every day. Grocery and drug stores close by and many walkable restaurants. Icing on the "cake" was Bonnie of Rum Cakes and More. She is a neighbor a few doors down. She was helpful with advice about the area and just a great person. I didn't know I liked rum cake......I do now!

The apartment was overall good. A couple of things that we noticed. The air conditioner makes a loud noise so we haven't used it we had to use the ceiling fan all of our stay when sleeping. Other thing is that the dining table is in the balcony (this is an open space) and there are a lot of moths at night if you want to eat in the apartment. This was very annoying for us, unfortunately. Regarding the location you will need a car for groceries and restaurants. The apartment was clean and the checking process was easy.

This property is a gem! The location is amazing; it was a quick drive from San Juan and very centrally located to many surrounding attractions. The quick access to the beautiful beach was unparalleled. Walking distance to Luquillo center where there are some cute restaurants. We even went on a night where there was an open air market and live music. The apartment is clean and quiet and spacious. Communication with management was seamless. The neighbors to the unit are even friendly! Neighborhood safe! 2 minute drive from a grocery store. The kitchen is stocked with all materials necessary to cook. Pick this property as your next vacation spot!

This was the most wonderful and relaxing trip. From the moment that we arrived, the owner took great pains to make sure that we wanted for nothing. The building is well-kept with excellent security and beach access. The level of hospitality that came with this booking was unmatched. The owner had some toiletry supplies in the home to hold you over until you are able to get to the store and an entire welcome binder filled with information on everything that you could ever need from restaurants, hospital, excursions in the area, and tips and suggestions on how to get around. The view and being able to hear the ocean all day and all night alone, makes this booking worth it. The hospitality coupled with the wonderful neighbors (shout out to Bonnie and her amazing rum cakes and jellies) really made this the perfect vacation getaway. This was my mothers coming home after almost 20 years away from the island and the perfect place to do it. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

We LOVED our stay! The views are unparalleled, the breeze was too. They have windows on both sides of the apartment making it feel like you’re standing on the bow of a cruise ship. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed (including reliable Wi-Fi for work) during our 1 week stay. The apartment does have amenities such as a pool etc but we honestly spent all of our time on the beautiful beach. Playa Azul can be a bit rough with kids so we also drove the 3 minutes to the Luquillo Kiosks and enjoyed those beaches which are calmer for the kids! Don’t miss dinner at La Estacion in Fajardo either… best meal we had the entire trip! We can’t wait to come back :)

Our stay was awesome! I highly recommend this stay for your next vacation. About 30 minutes away from San Juan but close enough to get around, and quiet. The neighborhood has restaurants and things to do all around. The beach is right outside your window and not crowded by any means! Tan, swim, and relax in comfort. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The place is clean, has unbeatable views and is an absolute bargain for the price. It’s a bit far from San Juan but if you drive that should not be an issue and there are a ton of interesting stuff to do nearby anyways. The communication was great and we were even allowed to check in early (despite us not taking advantage of it). When there was issues the response was prompt and it made our stay very special.

The condo is exactly as described. The check in was easy and the view is great. The one thing we were not aware of was the distance to San Juan. It was 45-60 minutes depending on where you are going in San Juan. So definitely rent a car. Although there are several restaurants and beach front locations in Luquilllo, driving to San Juan was an unexpected event. We obviously didn't do our homework on that. Be aware that you will have to supply many things for your stay. But overall the place was very comfortable and spacious for our needs,. The Property management was easy to get a hold of for any questions etc we had during our stay. It is a very safe community and location. Depending on your needs it is a great place to stay.

This was my first time to Puerto Rico and my BFF's first time back in over 20 years. For our first girls trip, the condo made us feel safe and at home.. The view is amazing, day or night. The locals were amazing and helpful.
We were able to visit the beach everyday in front of the condo. Amigos grocery store is right across the way, along with several fast food places (KFC, Wendy’s, Taco Maker and McDonalds). However, our favorite place to eat was within walking distance but you can certainly drive to the Kioskos in front of Luquillo Beach.
It was very convenient to be able to get food and have a meal at the condo. In the morning the coffee maker was a godsend. The washer and dryer made it so easy not to worry about doing laundry when we got home.
The extra towels and beach gear was a lovely addition. If you don’t get the chance to try Bonnie’s rum cakes down the hall, you’ll be missing out.
I would say the only thing that the condo needed was a stand up broom, so we could sweep the sand out. This however, is not a deal breaker.
Lastly, they had a helpful notebook and guides of places you could go as well as important phone numbers.
We will definitely be coming back and also recommend this condo to friends and family.

A slice of heaven
We stayed a week in PR at this property with our 2 sons -18&15. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning.. The balcony had a roomy table with a spectacular view where we ate each morning. The property is very safe and secure. Our 15 year old found a way to run 4 miles around the area each day. Bonnie, the super sweet lady down the hall was very friendly and checked in with us regularly to see if there was anything we needed. She also makes the best rum cakes! Be sure to look her up! The People of Puerto Rico were so friendly! We will be back! Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Perfect ocean view and breeze
Our family loved this condo! It accommodated all 6 of us nicely with enough towels (including beach towels), bedding and outdoor seating on the balcony where we had lots of family game time. Open the balcony doors and the front door window slats for an amazing cross breeze. And make sure you meet Bonnie a few doors down…she is very helpful with local recommendations and makes the best rum cakes ever! The pool is very nice and the beach is just a short walk away with plenty of shade from coconut trees. The waves were really fun and a calmer beach is also nearby. We would definitely return here! Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely condo!

Absolutely recommend this property!
Have your morning coffee or your evening dinner on the large balcony overlooking beautiful Playa Azul. You can watch the sunrise and the sunset! The condo was very clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed. The building was quiet and stores and restaurants are close by for eating in or out. Having a car is a must and we are grateful that it was recommended. We drove to many beaches, El Yunque Rainforest and into Old San Juan. We highly recommend this rental property!

Outstanding experience! Nice 2-bedroom unit.
Clean, comfortable, everything went really smooth. Very well kept and in good repair. Loved the cool & natural ‘wind tunnel’ inside (by the door) while windows are open. The best view from all 3 Playa Azul towers. Magnet business card on fridge will lead you to a great rum cake treat just down the hallway.

You have to either drive to the beach or walk around fence (10-15 mins walk) after these hours. The sunrise is around 5:45 am and sunset at 6:45pm during the May. This is an oceanfront property. I really wish we can walk out the condo to the beach in early morning to see sunrise and walk on the beach at evening after dinner.
