I stayed in many hostels when I used to backpack (I'm 41 now), and this is easily one of the nicest. The beds were comfortable (my wife and I stayed in a family room, not a dorm), the dinner was delicious, healthy, and well presented. The bathrooms were spotless, and the grounds were very nice.
There are only a few showers, and there are set times to use them (6am to 9:45am, 3pm to 10pm), so that is inconvenient for people like us who are up at 5am and out the door well before 6am. Other than that, the location is far from ideal, but we have a car (we live in Tokyo), so that wasn't an issue for us.

Different choices for breakfast available for you to choose from. From pasta, rice, bread/buns, fruits and cereals. Tea, coffee or juice available. Fresh salad , eggs, sausages, ham.
If only the flowers of the sakura tree at the front were in bloom, it would have been picture perfect!!!
