Exceptional

We loved the pool, the views and the breakfast! Our accommodation was cool when it was really hot outside!

The transport links to Korculla is difficult without your own vehicle.

Perfect in every way for a short getaway to sample Croatia and relax in the sunshine.

The pool area was idyllic- bed loungers, clean pool, flowers. Wonderful. The breakfasts were delicious - eggs every way you could ask for and veggies/fruit a plenty. A 2 minute walk down a lovely path to the seas (& a bar and restaurant). Rooms were basic but comfortable, clean, light and all we needed.

Not a negative about the property, but without a car, getting around is expensive (€25 one way to Korcula Town). No grocery store in walking distance, but one next to pier so prepare to get your groceries then.

Relaxing and quiet apartments off the beaten track.

The pool area was lovely and quiet, very relaxing. The breakfasts were absolutely gorgeous - all freshly made with ingredients from their garden.

It was quite remote, which is the only reason we gave it a 9 instead of a 10. There are a couple of restaurants in walking distance but if you wanted to go to the beach or anywhere else on the island, it was a minimum €25 taxi ride.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel.

We had a lovely time at Kis. We stayed for 6 nights. The apartments are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious everyday. Franjo was very helpful and welcoming. The pool area is stunning and very clean. Kneze has three good restaurants in walking distance from Kis which suited us well. The coast is stunning and very peaceful, we were glad not to be staying in Korcula town itself. You can rent boats and SUP from the beach right by Kis. Taxi into Korcula (6km) was €25 so we took the bus from Kneze which was €3.50 and only takes 15 mins to to get Korcula town. It runs 3-4 times a day on weekdays. Only 2x on a Saturday and not at all on Sundays. The buses were on time and air conditioned, would definitely recommend this over a taxi. Would definitely recommend Kis for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Only thing is there isn’t a grocery shop close to Kis. Closest one is in Račisće which is a 40 min walk or 10 min bus from Kneze. It’s a lovely town so worth the visit but the shop is quite expensive. Cheaper supermarkets (Tommy) in Korcula town. The local restaurants are reasonably priced and breakfast was included in our stay at Kis so we didn’t really need a grocery shop.

Peaceful apartment with a lovely pool.

Good size accommodation. Sea view. Swimming pool area.

Not enough sun shades around the pool area whilst using the sun beds. No where to hang your wet swimwear or towels in the apartment/ balcony. Limited crockery!

Exceptional

I had a wonderful stay at Kis Residence. The setting and pool area make it a beautiful place to spend a relaxing few days. As others (and the hosts) have said, it helps to have a car - though I didn't and it suited me just fine for what I was looking for. There was one restaurant open within very easy walking distance and enough variety to see me through my stay. The breakfasts and coffee at Kis were the best I experienced during my 6-week trip to Croatia.

unfortunately, our stay didn’t meet expectations

view from a room was nice, located close to the sea

we had to ask for towels replacement during our 5 nights stay, then nobody even took away old ones, trash bin wasn’t emptied, breakfast was mediocre

Great pool, beautiful location, great people and would definitely return.

staff were so welcoming and outdoor facilities were great as was breakfast and coffee. Location was beautiful too.

Needed a few more utensils in the kitchen, whisk, spatula but so great to eat out not a huge problem, it would have been nice!

Wonderful stay at Kris - quiet, but close enough to the town center making it a lovely stay.

The breakfast was exceptional with local farm ingredients! Very delicious! The pool was lovely and a welcome place to relax after a day of touring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a lovely view !

Amazing

Really nice stay. Swimming pool was really nice, staff was wonderful and the view from the room was breath taking. The apartment was really clean and had all the facilities. The location is amazing, in a very calm and nice part of the island. 15 minutes by car from the center of Korkula. May this be an advantage because you will be staying in the most beautiful part of the island.

We had a lovely stay at kis. Everything was spot on! From the fresh and homemade breakfast to the amazing view, from the super available staff to the details of the common areas. We enjoyed so much that we decided to extend our stay. Highly recommended!!!!

Spacious, friendly and relaxing - a great place to get on island time!

The hosts - very attentive, friendly and responsive. The breakfasts. Everyone made such delicious food – and proper coffee! The views - waking up to the sparkling Adriatic every morning? Priceless. The grounds are planted with a beautiful bounty of grapes, figs, peaches, olives, lavender and more. Absolutely memorable and peaceful.

The only thing we would change is to have AC units in the bedrooms themselves – we went in August so maybe not a problem for most during the year.

The accommodation was spotless clean and so refreshing. the bed and bedding were very comfortable. we slept very well! The pool was very nice too but could have been opened earlier however appreciated it needed cleaning.

Pool opened too late on the mornings. Everything else was amazing!

Our stay was very peaceful and enjoyable. Thank you for being helpful.

The property was very peaceful and the surrounding area was beautiful, particularly the view from our balcony. Ivan was extremely helpful upon arrival and we loved smelling the lavender and seeing all the fruit growing everywhere.

There was a problem with ants during our stay there were a lot. Although the location is gorgeous, you would need a mode of transport to get around the island as it is out of the way a bit.

Wonderful Place to stay. Great foodie island.

Kis Residence was a fantastic place to stay. The apartment we stayed in had 1 bedroom and was very modern and a good size. It was super clean and comfortable. Pool area was amazing. Breakfast was the star of the show. There was a good choice. All freshly made with home / island produce. I would stay here again if I ever came back to Korcula. This is not a negative but if you book here you will need a car or scooter to get around as no buses stop at kneze. I would recommend you arrange the hire before travelling to the island.

Absolutely beautiful beaches on this island and amazing food recommendations provided by the host

The pool and lounge area was stunning, Lots of lavender which smelled to beautiful and I was surprised with a room that had a sea view and balcony.

Drinking water was luke warm and wifi was a tad spotty in certain spots.

Loved our relaxing stay at Kis. The breakfast and pool are real highlights.

Pool, peaceful location, breakfast (all home grown and home made), spotlessly clean apartment, balcony, information re local attractions.

Small comment: apartment was a little stark in feeling. Would have been even nicer with some more homely touches ie bedside lights and more ambient lighting rather than just bright ceiling lights.

Perfect apartment with fantastic views and hosts

One of the best experiences with a host. The whole family running this object was very friendly and the residence was perfect. The apartment was very clean and the bed was perfect. You have the option to cook alone as well. The breakfast was very delicious and you feel like you were in a restaraunt and choosing your meal from a menu. The pool was open 24/7 and cleaned every morning. It was never too crowded, so it was perfect. The Bistro Fortuna, which is more of a restaurant, is quite nearby and has very delicious food at usual prices. I would advise you to check out the Vaja and Samograd Bay beaches. You will find one of the clearest, most beautiful, and calm places to go swimming or simply enjoy nature. If we ever came back to Korcula, this would be our choice.

Very good with some room improvement needed.

The hospitality of the staff was outstanding. The pool area is very beautiful and new. Breakfast is very delicious. Great options for vegetarians. The sea view from the room is amazing including as a bonus the beautiful sunset. Nice locations with options for walk/running.

The room is a bit outdated and needs renovation. More space for clothes and bags would be nice. A fridge with some cool drinks at the swimming pool area would be a plus. Swimming pool is cleaned every day around 8, so difficult to cool down after a running if you arrive back at this time.

Great! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend staying here. The hosts are amazing, at your disposal for anything you might need, very nice and helpful. Pool area is a huge plus when you just want to chill without going to the beach. Location is in my opinion perfect, max 10 min car ride from the old city Korcula and just a few minutes walk from the beach and village. You are served breakfast in a little terrace looking toward the sea, very nice! All in all, should I return to Korcula this would be again my choice of accommodation!
