We recently stayed at dS Hotel in Gronau for a gig at Metropool / Hengelo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and included a huge shower, a king-size bed, free Wi-Fi, and free on-site parking, which made our stay even more convenient. The city centres of Enschede and Hengelo were easy to reach by car, making the hotel a great base for exploring the area and attending events. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again. We can definitely recommend dS Hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation in the area.
The only small criticism would be that there was no fridge and no desk in the room. As the room is big enough, this could improve.

Goede douche, prettig bed, basic ontbijt voor redelijke prijs (13 euro), Alles Duitse degelijkheid. Vriendelijke dame bij ontvangst.
Geen menukaart, maar een vast driegangendiner dat verplicht om 18 uur startte en dat een dag tevoren geboekt moest worden. Dat is weinig gastvrij. Hele hotel heeft een wat neutrale en liefdeloze uitstraling. Er zit weinig idee en consistentie achter de inrichting. Het is vooral zakelijk. Mayo en ketchup op de ontbijttafel is niet zo aantrekkelijk.
