Great pub, comfortable bed clean and tidy room .Good full English breakfast within the room price.Friendly staff, restaurant had good choices at reasonable prices.
Would definitely stay again.

The evening bar staff were very pleasant. The towels in the room were lovely and soft. The bed was comfortable.
The noise from a generator or fan or something in the public below was bad. The bin in the shower room had not been emptied when we arrived and it was disgusting. The sink in the shower room was tiny and when bending over to clean your teeth, you hit your head on the shelf above the sink. There was not enough room to be able to fill the kettle from the sink in the shower room. Sockets were inaccessible- you either had to move a large piece of furniture or bend down and squeeze along to get a plug-in. The shower surround at the bottom was coming away. The breakfast was poor there was only a choice of cornflakes or crunchy nut cornflakes and orange juice or tea coffee. Coffee was strong, cold and undrinkable. The cooked breakfast was greasy. We also had a meal on the evening of arrival which took ages to come and was disappointing. I’m sorry to say that we will not stay in the Plough again.
